With the help of @retrosixuk I've managed to turn an idea I've had for 30 years into a real item I can keep in my collection forever. Designing this was a lot of fun but to finally have it in my hands is incredible. #GameBoy #Sega #megadrive #retrosix

Finally got the main shell and base plate segments printed and together for the rough copy that I will use figure out fitting and final measurements inside and out for the final print model.
One of the more curious projects I've seen in quite some time, and a fantastic resource for viewing/preserving this era of gaming. Hats off to them.

One of the joys of having the create almost anything is that I can sometimes make the unobtainable attainable.
5 years of planning, the internals have been figured out, so time to get to work.

I've seen people say that Gen AI is a tool. NO. Things like Photoshop, Blender, etc etc are tools used by artists. With Gen AI, the AI is the "artist". You're just the plebe commissioning the piece. I can't imagine anyone being proud of something they came up with using Gen AI.
Another ai blow hard who folds under scrutiny. Hilarious, and he he blocked me, they are so fragile. ๐
I'm going to be making some adjustments to the page(s) moving forward. Outside of video games, I'm a big film nerd, artist, designer, writer and prop maker.
I want to start including these elements under my MegaZX name, sharing projects, ideas & creations.
Hope you enjoy!
If this could be utilised in an #AnaloguePocket core, it would be absolute perfection. I love the look of this.

The disappointment i have for Sony right now is immeasurable, the harm it will do to the hobby waits to be seen, but if giving up ownership for a "licence" to play games is the future, then you can keep it.
Absolutely stunning news and so long overdue.
