An American Werewolf in London has the greatest transformation (in my opinion) in cinematic history.
Practical effects for the win.

I Spit on Your Grave (1978)
The model in the poster shot seen from the rear, clutching a knife, is Demi Moore.
Demi Moore confirmed in her 2019 memoir, Inside Out, that she is the model on the iconic poster.
The film was originally released in 1978 under the title Day of the Woman with a different poster featuring lead actress Camille Keaton.
In 1980, the Jerry Gross Organization acquired the film, renamed it I Spit on Your Grave, and commissioned a new poster.
Producer Charles Band was involved in the marketing for the re-release. He felt Keaton was not "shapely enough" for the new marketing vision. Moore was an 18-year-old model at the time and was working on Band's 1982 film Parasite.
While long a subject of Hollywood legend, Moore’s autobiography officially verified that she was the woman pictured from the rear, clutching a knife.
