Twitter has never been the place for sensible nuanced conversation, I get that, but I can’t help thinking that the world might be a little bit of a better place if we all listened a little harder and tried to find some understanding. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

Oh god, this. I cant begin to understand how deep this pain runs, none of us outside of this community can. We've got to listen & we've got to learn. There will be thousands of little ways we are all complicit in this. We've got to stop being defensive & just DO MORE AND BETTER.
