Growing up, my dad often asked me, “Nadine, if everyone jumped off a cliff, would you?” That question formed a core part of who I am—I have zero fear of going against the flow. You’re not always going to like what I say. Sometimes I’ll praise politicians or people you support, and other times I’ll criticize them, especially when I think they’re messing up. I’m also open minded and willing to change my views when presented with new information. One thing you can always count on is I will always speak my mind. My loyalty follows this order: God, family, community, province, country, world and political affiliation comes last. If a party or politician’s actions comes against any of these other priorities, you better believe I’ll speak up. If more politicians operated this way, society would function a lot better.
