True equality requires equal remuneration for equal effort. However, demands for gender pay parity are sometimes accompanied by expectations of less demanding labor.
Consider the following example.
When a woman says she doesn’t want alimony, some judges still push her to take it.
Mahhi Vij revealed that during her divorce from Jay Bhanushali, the judge asked her four times to accept alimony or maintenance. She refused — calling it his hard-earned money.
This isn’t just one case. Alimony remains one of the biggest bargaining chips in family court. If women routinely decline it, lawyers lose a revenue stream and the system loses leverage in negotiations over custody, property, and other terms.
True respect for women’s choices includes accepting “no” — even when it reduces legal business.

When she was living with her husband,
she wasn’t interested in him.
After leaving, she suddenly got worried.
Not because she wants him back.
But because he’s happy without her.
Why is he happy?
Presence ignored.
Absence resented.

**Shalini married Arun with a clear rulebook.**
No one would question her choices. No one would interfere in her life. She would work, earn, and wear whatever she wanted. Arun, who believed “her life, her choice,” agreed without a second thought.
One night she left for a club party at 11 pm. He simply said okay. She returned at 4 am. He opened the door, murmured “love you,” and went back to sleep. He never asked where she had been or who she had met.
Months later she got a better job in another city. He congratulated her, wished her luck, and said he was happy for her. He did not ask which company, which city, or how she would manage. When she had a minor accident and called him, he replied, “You’re a strong, independent woman. You’ll handle it.”
Four years later, Shalini sits with a quiet question she never expected: does she still want the man who never interferes, or the man who would have asked, waited, and looked after her?
She had demanded freedom. Now the freedom feels like distance. She is not alone. Many women who insisted on total independence quietly discover they also wanted care, attention, and the feeling of being looked after—yet they rarely say it out loud.
The heart wants what it wants. The hard part is admitting it before the silence becomes the story.

When a child’s private life becomes content, who is really being protected?
Some single mothers share intimate details of their children’s daily lives, struggles, and personal moments on social media—then claim it is only for financial support. The child’s face, school issues, health, or family conflicts are turned into public posts.
A child’s privacy and emotional safety are not optional. Exposing them for views, sympathy, or money crosses a line, whether the parent is single, married, or co-parenting. Fathers are routinely restricted from sharing even basic updates about their own children; the same standard of caution should apply to everyone.
If the claim is “I am doing this for finance,” the question remains: is the child’s best interest still first, or has the child become the product?
Children are not content. Parental responsibility does not disappear with marital status.

Why cover Shraddha Dubey’s face now? Most of India already knows it.
The Lucknow model and influencer, arrested with her sister Rashmi and driver Danish in the Shiva Sharma death case, was brought to Civil Hospital for a medical examination today. Reports and visuals show her repeatedly hiding her face from cameras—at the police station and hospital.
Yet her face has been public for years: modelling photos, Instagram content, and even videos she released while on the run. She is the prime accused in the October 9 death of cafe owner Shiva Sharma, who fell from a fourth-floor Hazratganj apartment. His family has alleged assault and murder; she has claimed suicide.
If the case is about accountability, why the selective shielding? Transparency should apply equally—regardless of who the accused is.
Justice for Shiva Sharma demands facts, not face covers.

In Baghpat, a wife allegedly planned her husband’s murder in chilling detail so she could start a new life with her lover.
Police say Urmila handed her lover Sikandar sleeping pills to mix into Pramod’s liquor, instructed him on a CCTV-free route, and kept demanding WhatsApp updates as the killing unfolded. Once he confirmed Pramod was dead, she reportedly told him she would block his number and contact him later if needed.
The motive, according to investigators: eliminate her husband and move to Dehradun with Sikandar.
Pramod’s body was found near a tubewell in his field on 18 October with severe head injuries. Both Urmila and Sikandar have been arrested. WhatsApp screenshots taken by the lover before messages could be deleted form key evidence.
A marriage turned into a calculated conspiracy. The question now is simple: will the system deliver full accountability?
