SPACEX IS ABOUT TO BE TOO BUSY FOR THEM. 🚀 Reports say SpaceX told NASA it'll stop flying crews to the space station by 2030, and it already stopped selling new commercial Falcon 9 launches for anything after 2028. The focus is moving to Starship and Starlink. Translate that: the contractor is firing the client. Here's how we got here, and it is a beautiful piece of American embarrassment. 🇷🇺 From 2011 to 2020, NASA couldn't launch a single American astronaut. We paid RUSSIA up to $80 million-plus a seat to catch a ride on a Soyuz.
 🚀 SpaceX fixed that. Since 2020, Crew Dragon has been the ONLY reliable American ride to the space station.
 📄 NASA's contract with SpaceX for crew flights is worth about $5.92 billion, and they just added three more missions.
 🛸 Boeing's Starliner, built on a NASA contract, took two astronauts up for an eight day trip. They came home NINE MONTHS later. On a SpaceX capsule. And now the best quote of the week. SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell, on NASA using Boeing instead: "We're just gonna let them have some business." That is the single most devastating sentence in aerospace. That's not a competitor talking. That's a woman letting her little brother win at checkers. Meanwhile NASA's own moon rocket, the SLS, costs about $4.1 BILLION per launch according to NASA's own inspector general. And you throw it in the ocean afterward. SpaceX lands theirs on a boat and flies them again. A former NASA deputy administrator said of the situation: "I guess I am still in denial that there is a divorce pending." Honey, the suitcases are already in the driveway. Now remember two weeks ago, when a Montana Democrat and half the blue checks wanted to NATIONALIZE SpaceX? Seize it. Take it. Give it to the government. The same government that couldn't put an American in orbit for nine years. The same government that pays $4.1 billion a launch for a rocket it uses once. You don't nationalize the guy who's winning. You ask him politely for a ride. And right now he's booked. 🦋
