The U.S. once had postal banking too, from 1911 to 1967. Today, millions of Americans remain unbanked or underbanked, while the banking industry continues to oppose bringing postal banking back.
We already have post offices across the country. Why not put them to work serving people, not just private banking profits?

The Sameer Project brings free barbershop services directly into displacement camps. On September 17, we organized a free haircut initiative at Al-Radwan Camp 6 for a total cost of just around $180 after 11% banking fees.
Clean hair, a fresh haircut, and a little dignity restored. These are the small but essential comforts every child deserves. The Sameer Project bring the haircuts to them because even the simplest needs should never be out of reach.
