I just would like my money back why should I want them to be incarcerated? What good does that do me?

Restitution is what needs to happen! Someone being “punished” does nothing for me. I want the injury to be remedied, and if that’s not possible, I want an admittance of responsibility and accountability going forward. I want my humanity to be recognized.

Didn’t read this until now, confused as to how anyone could be upset about it, concisely states a feeling I have far too often.

Stifling Zeitgeist

The promotional-discourse cycle around popular films like You Can See Everything drains all desire to talk about them, let alone see them.

Maybe I’m too nice but idk I feel weird when people talk about others this way like credit card companies don’t depend on this behavior in order to make money, it’s designed so that people are exploited. I’m sorry that not everyone acts perfectly rational financially.

My ex-coworker and I had the debit/credit card conversation and she kept saying "they tricked me, they played me, they gave me so much money and I swiped that shit on everything back then and now I have so much debt, they got me. Never get a credit card." And I was just staring.

I don’t think people should get insanely screwed over and have their lives ruined because they were fiscally irresponsible, I don’t want to live in a world where that happens.
