"It's a human who has to put on the headset and see if your interaction is natural or not."
That's @AshrayPai answering a question about agentic tools from Meta developer advocate @Dilmerv in episode 1 of Unscripted, our new series where a developer and a Meta developer advocate candidly take turns answering questions about building on Meta platforms.
In this episode, Ashray and Dilmer shared how they use agentic tools to accelerate VR development. Scaffolding, SDK and package setup, debugging and test runs all go to Ashray's agents. Comfort and interaction quality stay with him, in the headset. He sums it up as anything that needs testing can go to an agent, and anything that requires judging needs a human.
Watch episode 1 to hear how both of them use agentic tools in their day-to-day workflows and stay tuned for more episodes 👉 bit.ly/4BhA8Wi

Muse Spark Open is built to plan, act, and use computer across agentic tasks for life and work.
You can now build a powerful personal AI agent with an open stack, and SGLang to make it:
- Ultra-responsive with NVFP4 MegaMoE and sequence parallelism
- Faster for agentic and coding tasks with our DFlash2 draft model
- Customizable for specialized use cases via fine-tuning with Miles
We’re incredibly proud to have made this possible with @AIatMeta, @NVIDIAAI, @AIatAMD, @intel, and @radixark!
Today we’re releasing Muse Spark Open, the most capable US open-weight model to date.
Built for coding and agentic work, it excels at long-horizon tasks, complex software engineering, and multi-step reasoning.
Key Model Specs:
→ 816B total / 42B active parameters
→ 1M token context window
→ Natively multimodal across text, image, video, audio

Today, we’re releasing the weights for Muse Spark Open, giving developers more control over how they run, customize and deploy the model. (1/5)
It runs on leading inference engines like SGLang, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, Hugging Face Transformers, Apple MLX, llama.cpp, and Unsloth with optimizations for AMD, Apple, Intel, and NVIDIA silicon. Developers can easily further customize the model using the PyTorch framework. (4/5)
We’re excited to get Muse Spark Open into the hands of the developer community and can’t wait to see what you build with it.

Muse Spark Open -- weights releasing today -- runs great on new Mac Studios thanks to work with @johnternus and Apple.
New in Immersive Web SDK 1.0: your coding agent can now run and test your app itself, either in the desktop emulator or on a Meta Quest connected to your computer. It finds the slowdowns your users would hit before they do.

Before you adapt your game for hands, decide whether it's a fit. Speed plus precision, thumbstick-style control, and simultaneous actions all raise the cost of the port.

Meta adding a frontier model paired with filling out their API catalogue tells me the are going to be a first-tier AI provider.
I think people have been sleeping on Meta.

Meta's gone full-tilt, and I'm glad to see another competitor with a full AI catalog of services.
I've been running a heavy amount of AI experiments using Meta, and its was already passing my "good enough", and a fraction of the price.
I'll have give Muse Wonder a go with some single shots today.
