Today we remember Eddie Van Halen who paved the way for Kramer and shredders alike. We continue to be inspired by your legacy and rock hard attitude. You are missed, but your music and influence live on.

Daylight Saving Time is one of the dumbest ideas ever inflicted on this great republic. Every year we act shocked that it's dark at 4:30. Pick permanent standard time and stop the madness.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.
Just like the past couple years the 2 biggest contract guys didn’t show up.

You're an absolute failure and honestly you can just stay on vacation!!

Recess is for children, NOT the US Congress.
There’s work to be done.
Pass the SAVE America Act.
@SenateGOP @LeaderJohnThune

The Senate doesn’t need a summer vacation as much as the country needs the SAVE America Act.
Let’s cancel recess.
I stand with @basedmikelee.
I will vote to stay in session unless we have passed the SAVE America Act.
The American people expect us to deliver. They deserve secure elections.
As a New Jerseyan I agree with the Vice President 100%.
If only there was a way to stop this type of “software error” that allowed non citizens to vote in our elections.
I hope Senators @CoryBooker and @SenatorAndyKim will join us in voting to pass the SAVE America Act to ensure that only eligible American voters can participate in New Jersey elections, and all elections across the United States.

.@RepChipRoy, permanent DST would push Texas sunrise later than 8am for 5 months, later even than 9am! It costs lives and business when tried! Replace the Sunshine Protection Act with the Sunshine for Our Kids Act, in Rules Committee at 4pm Monday!
ALT Two photos showing how dark permanent Daylight Saving Time would make winter mornings.
