The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children intercepted his digital footprints and immediately shot an official cybertip to Mississippi law enforcement to stop the abuse. Cyber investigators from the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office tracked the digital trail straight to Dunaway. In September 2025, authorities closed in, slapped handcuffs on him, and threw him into the Walthall County Jail on a massive bond after seizing the damning evidence from his possession. Justice finally hammered Dunaway on October 19, 2026. Circuit Court Judge Michael M. Taylor sentenced the 49-year-old criminal to 40 years in prison.
