The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

Once again, I took advantage of early voting and cast my ballot. And I did it in a walking boot because of a cracked fibula.
So you don’t have any excuse. Get out and vote. 🇺🇸🗳️
Scooter? C’mon, y’all can come up with a better name. 🤣 #BBN
