This is moronic. Absolving them because it’s not something obvious like PEDs is hilarious. Cheating is cheating.
Financial doping over a decade is just as deliberate, thought out and deceitful as giving players PEDs. That’s the point.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣
He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage.
City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.
