staff at retailers and all over had to work, cos its still no work no pay. I hear you, but also understand, that 250 rand for one day's work was more important than voting. It is sad, it is reality and its all round kak en klaar. food and lights over an x on a ballot
The GOOD Party’s Brett Herron says voter turnout in the suburbs was higher than in the Cape Flats and townships. He calls this unfortunate, as residents in those areas are the ones who most often complain about poor service delivery, lack of housing, and failing infrastructure. Tune in to #eNCA on #DStv403.

So I usually don’t address misogynistic click baiters who use the ridicule of women’s bodies to find relevance on social media. However because I’m a proud black, African, small framed woman I will. I understand to feel better about who you are, you need to shame others, and that’s indicative of your microscopic mindedness, which I will implore you to expand so it is revealed to you that bodies are different. Women’s bodies are different. I happen to love who I am and have a deep appreciation for bodies of all shapes and sizes as designed by God. It is 2026, and if your method of finding relevance is shaming a human body, then what a small. Small. SMALL mind you are. FYI, if you spent the day walking and talking to community members about service delivery issues and then came back to studio to conduct a full radio show, you’d need padded shoes to help you so your feet don’t sweep up. But bhuti, grow up so we engage on deeper issues than women’s bodies.
I’m coming from my local Checkers thinking that they will close at at 6pm, I get there and the security and cashiers tell me that the store is going to close at 9pm meaning they are not going to get the chance to vote

His name is Max Phakamile Mankazana, a son of Erma and Walter Mankazana from Soweto. This man is my dad. I look just like him; I only took my mother's complexion.
My dad was always there for us until the day he was shot eight times by a man who lived directly opposite our home. And guess what? Today, that very man is one of the MKP councillor candidates in one of the branches in Zola, under the City of Johannesburg, by the name of Derrick Dlamini.
My dad was a provider and a police officer by profession. He provided for his family until he was taken away from us by people who felt entitled to his life. He was robbed from his six children and wife. 💔
This stole a part of me that really means the world to me. But today, he wants to lead an entire community under his banner. Whenever I think about it, I get so angry.
But the woman who raised me, my mother, Cynthia Mankazana, taught me how to pray and forgive. Still, I cannot understand how the man accused of taking my father's life can now want to lead an entire community. 💔
Zilwele Nthangase, Msotho 😭
