Greetings everyone! Over the past few weeks we’ve noticed that quite a few community-run tournaments are already either in progress or slowly on the rise. We’re incredibly happy to see that the competitive spirit lives within the community and is being spread across Olden Era! It also happens that this perfectly aligns with our plans. We’re happy to announce that, together with Behemoth’s Lair, Ubisoft and Hooded Horse, the first official Olden Era tournament, The Alvari Cup, will begin on August 1st 2026! You can check out more information about the tournament on its official webpage! unfrozen.studio/tournament/ 16 invited participants will compete against one another in a Single Elimination, Best of Three format over the next few weeks, showcasing their Might and Magic, with the ultimate victor claiming the grand prize we’ll reveal very soon! In the future, we plan to host more official tournaments, including open format tournaments, where everyone will be able to sign up! We will continue to take care of both PvE and PvP environments simultaneously and we are constantly reading your feedback!

Greetings, Heroes! Today is slightly different as rather than one large singular news, we bring you a mix of smaller ones. Let's start with the most important one! Next week, we are planning to release a major balance update for Olden Era. Among various bug fixes, there are changes to Schism and Necropolis, adjustments to Grove and some template changes, including new ones coming to the game. We're also updating the Necromancy UI to make it easier to interact with. On Saturday, 25 July 2026 07:00 PM CEST, we're going to Poland! Our beloved Heroes Orchestra will be playing as part of the Musical Gardens Festival in Royal Castle Courtyard in Warsaw, where you'll be able to witness various Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era themes played live. It has been more than 10 years since the last Heroes game, and we are honoured to add a new chapter to the legendary legacy we all grew up with! An enigmatic knight-vampire, Artorius Veritas is a character we have a chance to meet during our adventures across Jadame in Might and Magic VIII RPG: Day of the Destroyer. There we come across him years after his own travels left him wounded and regenerating for over 3 decades. But what about his past? With a pen in hand and creativity aplenty, our artist Dzikawa sat down and painted him as a young vampire whose story has just begun. Join us as she brings his visage to candlelight!
