So, @elonmusk not that anyone will notice I've gone, but one less social media account frying my brain cells with toxic crap feels like a good decision, especially when its owner has finally outed himself as an utter social parasite and lie-maker. Everyone else. I'll miss you.

Thank you Harriet Walter. We are at a vital point in the campaign. Please stand with us chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj We are nearing 5k signatures & need to keep building. The needs of the acting profession must be heard. @7DialsPlayhouse are you listening now? #timetoact
Stand with us & Harriet Walter #TheActorsCentre ‘is irreplaceable, there’s nowhere like it..such a service to the industry’. What @7DialsPlayhouse has done is ‘insane..destructive..a dismantling of everything a lot of actors have built up’. chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj #timetoact

How could @7DialsPlayhouse CEO Amanda Davey claim in October ‘21 that they RELY on workshops/membership & in Nov ‘21 announce the ‘rebrand’ & their removal? It never made moral/financial sense & has resulted in the sale of the lease. Stand with us chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj
Amanda Davey, May 2020:
"We rely on our workshops, theatre, membership income to stay afloat."
In October 2021:
"We rely on our workshops, shows, membership income ... to stay afloat."
Why were workshops and membership removed @7DialsPlayhouse?

#clacton could of course vote to recall @Nigel_Farage I have little doubt he will give decent grounds to do so over the coming months. I would pay particular attention to his expenses, especially if he is claiming for constituency work he is clearly not fulfilling.

Thank @RikkiBB - ‘magical & essential’ sums up the necessity of #TheActorsCentre training & the wonderful connections, friendships, projects, collaborations & community created within 1a Tower St. @7DialsPlayhouse has removed both. Why? It brought the magic & the income!
Brilliant @RikkiBB - #TheActorsCentre changed lives, kickstarted careers, forged collaborative connections, enabled projects, supported artistic journeys - hub for community & friendship. ‘Magical & essential’. Join us in the urgent fight for its return chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj

Really, really important. If you never had a chance to benefit from the top notch industry training available at affordable rates at The Actors Centre, it's because you are being robbed of it by the current board of the Seven Dials Playhouse. Please sign - we have to get it back.

Thank you @SimonCallow Anther powerful voice urging @7DialsPlayhouse CEO & trustees to finally start listening to the profession, to @EquityUK, to #TheActorsCentre founders & supporters. This building was not yours to repurpose/sell the lease. This building belonged to Actors.
Here’s @SimonCallow - ‘we must urgently step up the campaign for the restoration of The Actors Centre, with affordable classes and training for all & for the guaranteed future safety of a building bought by actors for actors.’ Join us chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj @7DialsPlayhouse

Here’s founder @4SheilaHancock talking about the need for a centre for actors to.. further their craft…to create new work and also to find company, because acting when you’re out of work is very lonely. And then to discover that’ @7DialsPlayhouse ‘is going to take all that away’
Always happy to follow our graduates' journeys into their brilliant careers.. 💕@uniofeastanglia @UEADrama @uealdc @UEACareers

Thank you @AnthonyHopkins for your support and reminding us of how many actors were involved in founding, funding and championing #TheActorsCentre. Across the profession we need to stand up for what’s right and fight for our home to be restored.
Join us, @EquityUK & the legendary @AnthonyHopkins & make your voice heard chng.it/X6r6DSZWVj Challenge @7DialsPlayhouse’s sale of the lease of 1a Tower St. It ‘would represent a severe loss to the acting profession’ We need to stand united. #leaveourleasealone

Over three million people use food banks in this country. This is such an important project and I’m so proud to be bringing it to @CamdenPT
🎉 Exciting News! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce the debut of our brand new production, 'The Food Bank Show', @CamdenPT this Autumn! 🍁
As part of CPT’s new festival, ‘The State We’re In 2024’, we're honoured to be featured in such a dynamic and inspiring lineup.
ALT A male figure stands central with a microphone, a gust of wind surrounds him, carrying detritus, including food items-cans, fish, bottles etc, and writing implements-pieces of paper, a laptop etc. The style is of a pencil sketch, all in black and white.

This is exactly what I feared. The Actors Centre, a building bought and paid for by actors, to be a place of ongoing training, has now been put in real jeopardy by a board of amateurs, with no mandate other than the one they gave themselves when they hijacked the charity. Shame!
It appears that the money from lease sale would be used to leaseback the building to the @7DialsPlayhouse, cover substantial outstanding debt & maintain their business model for the foreseeable future. A model that has removed training/actors & risks the future of Tower St.
