GameStop are genuinely the most brilliant corporate scammers ever. Buying up hundreds of thousands of previously junk slabs at ridiculous prices, artificially inflating the market while doing so, then selling the CHANCE to pull already 10x pumped slabs back to your unsuspecting customers is the greatest scam GameStop has cooked up yet. A $10k pack could not have existed when they first launched Power Packs, but since they and all the other slab mystery pack sites have spent the past year and a half hoarding all the slabs, now we have nonsensical regular holo slabs going for $50k+ when they weren't even $5k a year ago. I made quite a few videos when this site first launched, as their odds were CRANKED to attract new customers. It's now fallen off a cliff, and even if you pull a "chase", your pull is likely up 10-20x over the past year not thanks to natural market motion, but mystery pack sites buying up cards for their stock. These sites do not care about buying an overpriced card because they aren't flipping the card, the card is bait for them to charge 1000 people $1000 each for a 0.1% CHANCE to get that card. They make their money back tenfold every time at LEAST. I would exercise extreme caution buying anything in this market with these current prices, as once one of the dominoes falls for these pack ripping sites, shit is about to get very brutal very quickly for collectors. Remember when GameStop was getting flak for charging double MSRP on pre orders for their sealed Pokemon cards that they receive directly from Pokemon themselves? They've now pumped the market so hard, that their double MSRP prices are viewed as a GOOD DEAL and a CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OFFER because every other platform is now selling boxes for 3x MSRP at LEAST. This shit is a masterclass in scamming. Great job GameStop. You've been fucking your customers since the start, and your customers are more eager than ever to get fucked. Hats off
