Look, I agree that it’s a net societal good that sora is shutting down, but it’s going to drastically cut down the number of AI videos in my social media feed of overweight people filling their homes with diarrhea and I’m allowed to mourn.

I hate to give this idiot the attention he’s craving but — comics are a visual medium. The writer is essentially vestigial. If admiration and respect as a writer are this important to you, be a novelist

Writing a comic book requires more effort than it takes to draw one.
As a writer, you need to be aware how much work the artists are going to put into bringing your script to life.
As well, you need to be aware how much time money and effort a reader is going to put into consuming it.
Don’t put the success or failure of your comic onto your artist.
Take responsibility.
Put in the work.
Your readers will thank you for it.
