Remember when @SenSchumer turned on Biden? Remember how quickly he resigned after more and more came out in support of him dropping out!? We need this momentum with Schumer and Jeffries. It’s time for KARMA to kick back around-

Texas awarded Odyssey a contract worth up to $52 million over four years to manage the School Choice voucher program. And that's not all. The program also allows additional money to be spent on administrative costs outside of that contract. Now, look at the people involved. Odyssey hired Luis Sáenz, who was Abbott's chief of staff for five years. Sáenz then became a lobbyist for Odyssey while Abbott was pushing to get school vouchers passed. Odyssey also brought in two more former Abbott staffers to help promote the program: John Wittman, Abbott's former communications director, and Matthew Hirsch, his former deputy chief of staff. Then there's billionaire Jeff Yass. He contributed $500,000 to an Odyssey-related competition in 2023 and millions of dollars to Abbott's political efforts in 2024. I'm not saying these connections mean something illegal happened, but hmmm... Odyssey gets a multimillion-dollar contract, and there are additional administrative expenses on top of that. So how much money is actually going toward educating children, and how much is going toward running the program, paying contractors, marketing, and other private organizations? Who is keeping track of the money? Who is making sure it's being spent properly? And who's benefiting financially from all of this?

The annoying orange fart can't help but kneel before Putin in everything. How he downplays Russian atrocities is disgusting. "Russia loses civilians too," he said in a patronizing tone while we are still digging through the rubble of the school in Komyshuvakha, with 43 dead so far, and that's not final. Pffft! How about they fuck right off back home then? But no, no. That's too complicated of a concept. He must have inhaled too much spray tan and lost his ability to think logically.

Wanna know why the Blue tsunami flushed them all out? The DOJ very quietly dropped more than 23k criminal investigations in the first six months of trump's second term. 23,000!! Fraud, drugs, terrorism, white collar crime. Hundreds of federal fraud cases alone. All while shifting resources toward immigration enforcement and murdering citizens in the streets. This is why they lost SO badly.

What's it going to take for people to accept the truth? We were NEVER supposed to find out about that secret meeting between Jeffries and Kushner, and the fact that people are actively pretending it never happened after how hard we worked to get to this point is beyond nonsense. There's those blaming the NYT for reporting on it saying "they want to divide us?" Jeffries took the meeting! Nobody made him do it. How can anyone look at that and still trust them? His response video was nothing short of absolute garbage. We fought too damn hard and sacrificed too much just to get "Merrick'd" all over again. I refuse to work with people who are okay with those who made our lives a living hell. I've watched friends become physically ill over the sheer anxiety of what was happening to our country, and now expect us to just sweep it under the rug. Accountability isn't optional, and no leader who hides their backroom dealings deserves our loyalty. Period.

Since Buc-ee’s said they won't do business in blue states, I expect a press release today saying they are closing up shop in Arizona and Texas. 😁🤷

Hakeem Jeffries might not want a "revenge tour" but plenty others do. Jamie Raskin and Robert Garcia among others. I want to see Republicans falling over themselves to rat each other out.

The Texas Senate is the most crooked bullshit. 31 total seats. In a state of 30 million. Bigger than US House districts, gerrymandered to hell. Permanent jobs for guys like Charles Schwertner who should be in jail for sending dick pics to underage girls (not a joke. Real).
Replying to @lyndonbajohnson
Doesn’t a state senator want to get appointed to a better paying job? That’s how we used to remove recalcitrant legislators in New Jersey.

I am a scholar in the failed post civil war reconstruction, and I did my masters thesis on the damage that failure and unaccountable conservatives have done to this country for the last 150yrs to this day, and we are on a precipice here again. America must stop allowing capitalism to preclude democracy, and hold the robber barons, racists, murderers, and corrupt politicians accountable, or this “revolutionary” election doesn’t mean shit.

Wow, I just found out that Amazon has selected my upcoming book, The Land of Tears and Hope, as one of its Editors' Picks for the Best History Books of November! “A transporting and meditative read on Ukraine—this emotional narrative adds heft to the headlines,” writes Amazon editor Lindsay Powers. And thanks to your preorders, the book hasn't even been released yet, but it's already #20 in Amazon's History of Ukraine category. Thank you so much for this. Less than a week to go until the book is out on all major platforms! amazon.com/Land-Tears-Hope-U…

Every horrific and mind-numbingly stupid thing that has happened due to the Trump presidency was predicted. Every. Fucking. Thing. Trump never should have been elected in the first place — and if not for a cadre of cretinous, greed-driven billionaires, he wouldn't have been. Greed tuns relatively intelligent people into blithering idiots.
