We’re thrilled with the Ontario government’s decision to permanently fund its @ONlongtermcare Community Paramedicine Program & expand services in First Nations communities. This will continue to have a profound impact on seniors’ ability to age at home while reducing ER demand.
Ontario is making the Community Paramedicine for Long-Term Care program permanent and expanding services in First Nations communities.
The program offers non-emergency medical supports to help eligible people live safely in their own homes for longer. Learn more: news.ontario.ca/en/release/1…

A video is circulating online alleging that OPP officers spoke to an individual doing lawn care. We can confirm that this video is untrue.
The video manipulates unrelated clips and provides false information. The officers shown did not interact with anyone completing lawn care.
Disinformation like this can fuel hostility, risk officer safety, and undermine community trust. We ask everyone to stay vigilant and critical of what you see online.
Thank you to those who flagged this. The OPP remains committed to transparency and community safety.
