Thank you Burlington!
I’m absolutely honoured, inspired and energized to be returned as your Mayor. Thank you to everyone who opened your door, dropped us a message, volunteered and cast a ballot. I’m so proud of the positive campaign our team ran, true to the respect Burlington deserves. No matter who you voted for, I’m here to serve you, as Mayor of all the people.
We have much work ahead, and will hit the ground running starting with our 2027 budget. I know we will make progress moving our city forward together.
Thank you to everyone who stepped forward as candidates this election to offer your service to the people of Burlington. I want to welcome the new faces around the council table, Sean Campbell (Ward 2), Mark Carr (Ward 3), Olivia Duke (Ward 4) and Alex Don (Ward 5), and congratulate the returning councillors, Kelvin Galbraith (Ward 1) and Angelo Bentivegna (Ward 6), based on unofficial results. I look forward to serving with you!
I also want to thank the departing Councillors for their service to our community: Lisa Kearns (Ward 2), Rory Nisan (Ward 3), Paul Sharman (Ward 5), and Shawna Stolte (Ward 4), who did not stand for re-election.
We will have many new faces at Halton Regional Council, too. Congratulations to the new Mayors in Halton: Jeff Knoll (Oakville), Jason Brass (Halton Hills) and George Minakakis (Milton). I look forward to working with you, alongside the new and returning Regional councillors.
Thank you to the departing Mayors around the Halton Regional table for your service to your communities and to Halton: Ann Lawlor (Halton Hills), Gord Krantz (Milton) and Rob Burton (Oakville).
Elected office is a public service. Together we will make sure our cities and our Region stay the best places to live, raise a family, open a business and retire.

Why is the MAD team endorsing @MariannMeedWard in the upcoming election?
Whether it’s protecting our green space or protecting women and children, Marianne has never backed down. She is honest, collaborative and steady in unsteady times. I hope you’ll join me in supporting her.

Eight years of experience. A record of results. And a clear plan for what comes next.
We moved growth to our GO stations, not our neighbourhoods. We stopped towers at the waterfront. Now I'm ready to finish the work, with 18 commitments for Burlington's future.
Online voting closes tonight at 8 PM.

Thank you, Burlington! 🧡
I’m so grateful to the volunteers and people who have opened their doors to speak to us. Your input and encouragement means so much.
We can feel the momentum, and we’re ready to finish strong! But momentum only counts when it becomes a vote, and every vote matters.
If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time: online until Sunday at 8 PM, or in person on Election Day, Monday, October 26, 10 AM to 8 PM.
Let’s keep Burlington moving forward, together.
