Instead of correcting course, the GOP chose to shoot the messenger and double down on stupid. (This tweet is one year old tomorrow.)

I wonder how many of my colleagues would like a chance to go back and change their vote on my Iran War Powers Resolution in March?

Liberals thinking this blue wave is because of them is actually hilarious

in retrospect shooting a tomahawk missile at a girls elementary school on the very first day of the war probably alienated voters
The Iran War is the greatest political blunder in the last two decades at least. A catastrophically stupid decision. An unforgivable betrayal of America First principles.

The $30 million spent to oust Thomas Massie could have been better spent in Iowa, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, and Ohio. But thank God Ed Gallrein can rubber stamp Trump’s agenda in a minority, MAGA!

If you didn’t anticipate last night’s election results you need to stop listening to Fox News, Bongino, and Catturd.

Catastrophic defeat because of the bad economy and Trump’s immediate response is to show off his ballroom. I wasn’t expecting him to have the best response but this is far worse than I anticipated.
President Trump is currently delivering surprise remarks on the White House ballroom project and other renovations in the DC area.

The movement did not collapse last night. It collapsed last year, the moment you all started to shill over Epstein, then the Iran War. You promised to hold a corrupt ruling class accountable, forsake the foreign lobbies to NEVER START A NEW WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST, and put the forgotten man and woman FIRST. Put America FIRST. They screamed at the top of their lungs for over a year and gave you more opportunity to course correct they i ever imagined voters would give a president and party under these circumstances. You did NOT listen You lied to America, and America punished you badly for it. Now, the very bad news is you wasted all this time and the demographic clock kept ticking. The debt clock kept ticking and worsening, too. Yes, Democrats hate you and voted at crazy rates to hurt you, not to hold you accountable. But that is the Democratic base. They alone are not nearly big enough to do to us last night what voters did. Independents and even a good deal of Republicans (by defecting or not voting) joined them to punish us for breaking our promises. We are no longer in the era of ideology. Read BURN IT DOWN! This is all transactional now. If Democrats do not make Americans' lives better, they will punish them too. We're in the Fourth Turning. That's how it goes. So, buckle up and prepare for instability and horrible civil turbulence. You blew the opportunity to lessen the calamity. P.S. Good job, neocons! You very well might have ended the country. We shall see. But I don’t ever lose hope.

The only thing worse than the Republicans not understanding the repudiation that just occurred is that Democrats actually believe they won based on their policy positions.

There is absolutely no path forward for an American political party with ANY association with Israel. Israel must be totally expelled from our entire system.
Republicans destroyed the party by putting Israel first instead of America first. Trump sealed the deal by waging unnecessary war, causing unnecessary inflation, and failing to hold the Epstein class accountable while insulting his supporters for pushing back. You can keep your $5,000. It won’t be worth anything anyway.

Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises. All Republicans had to do was: 1. put Americans First 2. not start another war 3. prosecute sex traffickers

You're going to see all sorts of big-brained takes from politco dorks about tonight for the next several weeks, but it's very simple: we started another pointless war with Iran on behalf of Israel, the economy in unbearable for normal people, there have been no mass deportations + Walmart still look like Mumbai, and the GOP ran a bunch of minorities and women instead of White men. This isn't rocket science.

The conservatives who said: 1) The war in Iran is catastrophically stupid 2) Affordability is a real problem 3) America First Were exactly right on every point.
