I am happy to touch on something like this when it bothers me to hear where other people stand / i wanted to make it clear where i stand with all of that. degrading and invalidating an experience (fictional or not) because they are flawed frustrates me to no end. No problem.

final words because i don’t want to be misunderstood: If a character is “flat” you need to understand the amount of screentime they had and consider how crunched of a deadline devs tend to have. I would’ve preferred royal to have been delayed over getting it the way it is now.

TLDR: later characters needed more screentime / people need to play the side games even if their favorite characters aren’t in the game because it gives a better understanding of their characterization as time passes / are in different situations.

I also often side eye people who don’t play strikers due to no akechi. You’re missing out on blocks that build upon a foundation from vanilla, and the expansion upon a lot of these characters is direly needed due to P5’s story beats.

every single pt was either extorted, groomed or abused by the people around them at one point. failing to recognize it is failing to understand narrative set up that they felt they had to fight back as a group because they were tired of seeing the same thing happen to others.

I understand why voice actors sometimes may choose to depart entirely from the public eye / VO work but good lord am i missing public appearances from Evan Smith (Junpei, Deuce, ect.) I hope he is well, wherever he is. It breaks my heart that i may not have the chance to meet him

parroting this art for the most part, was only really paying close attention to the way the hair was ultimately rendered but i probably should've used a harder brush. shrug! The use of blending in this is v obvious/i used an airbrush for most of it, I wanted a softer feel for it.
