Widzę, że ruszyli do zmasowanego ataku populiści, chcący odbierać i tak bardzo nielicznym Polakom broń na podstawie jednego wydarzenia z udziałem sprawcy, który nawet nie był posiadaczem broni (przynajmniej nic o tym na razie nie wiemy).
Tu trzeba się zdecydowanie temu zalewowi populizmu przeciwstawić. Nie, tragedia w Krakowie nie uzasadnia nawet w najmniejszym stopniu jakichkolwiek dodatkowych restrykcji w i tak restrykcyjnym polskim systemie wydawania pozwoleń na broń. Jedyne, co można tu zalecić, to poczekanie na wyniki śledztwa i stwierdzenie, czy pozyskanie przez sprawcę broni odbyło się wskutek zaniedbania przez posiadacza broni, czy po pozbawieniu go życia, czy jeszcze jakoś inaczej.
Trzeba też powiedzieć coś, czego całe mnóstwo ludzi nie umie dzisiaj zaakceptować: niemal każda wolność wiąże się z jakimś ryzykiem, którego przy zachowaniu rozsądku nie da się wyeliminować. To dotyczy prawa do posiadania samochodu tak samo jak prawa do posiadania broni. Przy czym statystycznie zdarzenia z wykorzystaniem legalnie posiadanej broni są ekstremalnie rzadkie.
Ale nie miejmy złudzeń: populiści będą teraz pompowali emocje na zdwojonych obrotach.

Completely hypothetical question: Suppose that someone today started a new religion that condoned pedophilia, viewed women as inferior, despised everyone who was not of their religion, hated dogs, desired to conquer every inch of the world, hated our culture, civilization, and heritage, was astoundingly illiberal, cut off the clitorises of five-year-old girls, along with 1,000,000 other pieces of evidence that were contrary to every one of your liberal values. Would you think it ok to ban it or should it be granted full freedom to take over our society?

Mo Deen is simply a Muslim not some fringe jihadi. He is a mainstream Muslim social media personality allowed into the ring, who wants to harm Tommy for simply being honest about Islam.
The same violent pattern repeats for over 1400 years now: criticize the doctrine or the crimes, face the deathly and violent reaction.
This is what is being imported. This is what America has now elected.
