You obviously didn’t watch the clip. 😂
Didn’t blame you @Kdtrey5, but am happy with the culture we are building here in Phoenix. We got the right guys and right focus now and are excited for this season.
Good luck this season in Houston.
#blameKD even though KD stayed on top of his game at 36 and got u back this “culture” you love so much. Aye, Matthew acts like I got arrested for a DUI or sumn. Back to threads 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Had a great time hosting the Phoenix Suns at UWM today! They spent time touring our campus, visiting with team members, and got to see what we’ve built here to become the #1 mortgage lender in America. Always love seeing our Phoenix Suns and UWM cultures come together, as we both are focused on taking great care of our people, caring about our clients/fans, and winning.
Doing right by fans always wins! Love seeing more teams adopting value menus or showing games for free on TV. We will continue to lead here in Phoenix so fans keep having the best experience possible!
Excited to keep investing in the fan experience here in PHX... and this LED display is pretty awesome to see!
BIG VISION. EVEN BIGGER SCREEN. 🔥
Mat Ishbia's vision for transforming the fan experience continues with the largest exterior LED display on an NBA / WNBA arena!

Yesterday we celebrated @DianaTaurasi officially joining the @PhoenixMercury Ring of Honor! For 20 years, Diana defined what it means to compete, lead, and win at the highest level. Her impact on the Mercury organization, city of Phoenix, and the game of basketball is unmatched. She is truly the GOAT of the WNBA, and we’re so proud to celebrate her legacy and will forever have her as part of our family!
Losing is never easy, but I feel really good today about our team and am already thinking about where we go from here. I’m so proud of this season and want to thank every single person who made this year possible. First, thank you to the fans who supported our team every single day... and the players, coaches, front office, and entire organization who worked so hard to give our community a team to be proud of. So many fans have told me how much they loved cheering on this team and were proud of how we competed for 48 minutes every game. This season introduced a new era of @Suns basketball and we have a lot more work to do, which I am truly excited about, and we are just getting started!
Loved having the @PhoenixMercury visit UWM yesterday to meet our team members and see our campus! They also got a chance to practice on our court in front of hundreds of team members... was a fun experience across the board!
I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
Devin Booker WENT OFF in his postgame interview about the officiating in tonight’s game vs OKC:
"It's definitely something that has to be looked into. I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible."
"I know I haven't won a championship in this league but I have been in it for 11 years now, so to get to this point to be treated like that, for me to even be saying something out loud... It's bad.
"It's my first time in 11 years but it's needed. Whatever, I get fined for it, everybody can pull the clips and see where the frustration comes from."
Losing on purpose is not what the NBA or any sport should be about
"Tanking is a loser mentality..
I don't like losing and I don't ever wanna talk about losing..
We try to win and tanking is bad for the NBA..
It's gotta change and it will change" ~ @Mishbia15

Thanks for having me on the show @PatMcAfeeShow. Loved talking hoops and a little mortgages with you guys and hanging out. You guys are the best!
Your performance in that NBA All-Star Celebrity Game was UNBELIEVABLE..
"I had a great time and I knew if I didn't play the right way Coach Izzo would've been calling me 😂
It was a lot of fun out there" ~ @Mishbia15

All businesses, whether it's basketball or mortgages, are won the same way - by having the best people on your team and truly caring about them. We built UWM to be the biggest mortgage company in America for the last four years and we are building the Suns/Mercury/Player 15 Group the same way... work hard, be positive, care more, compete to win, and get better every day!
This is ridiculous! Tanking is losing behavior done by losers. Purposely losing is something nobody should want to be associated with. Embarrassing for the league and for the organizations. And the talk about this as a “strategy” is ridiculous.
If you are a bad team, you get a good pick. That makes sense. But purposely shutting down players and purposely losing games is a disgrace and impacts the integrity of whole league.
This is much worse than any prop bet scandal. This is throwing games strategically. Horrible for fans that pay to watch and cheer on their team. And horrible for all the real teams that are competing for playoff spots.
Awful behavior that Adam Silver and the NBA will need to stop with massive changes, and I have complete confidence that with his leadership, he will fix it. Those of us in a position of influence need to speak out… the only “strategy” is doing right by fans, players, and the NBA community.
NEW @YahooSports STORY:
Adam Silver says this is the most tanking he's ever seen. So I power ranked the tanking teams based on a sophisticated five-factor system. sports.yahoo.com/nba/article…
Had so much fun at NBA All-Star Weekend! Was great to get back on the court and compete with some amazing people in the Celebrity Game, and was awesome to watch Devin Booker lead his team to a win yesterday. Look forward to welcoming hundreds of thousands of fans to the city of Phoenix and the Mortgage Matchup Center next year for the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend!
Thanks for the love @PatMcAfeeShow… just trying to play hard and compete! Appreciate you and the great stuff you’re doing
32 wins for the Suns and all before the All-Star break… think that puts us above your season prediction/bet of under 31.5 wins @BillSimmons! 👀 You guys usually have great content and good stuff… thanks for all you do. But also keep your eye on the Suns, like I told you… we have a different culture and team in PHX these days. We still have a long way to go but we are working hard to get there. Go Suns!
We're so lucky to have Devin here in Phoenix, and love seeing him and Diana together... two absolute legends that we are so proud to have in the Valley!
Devin Booker on his loyalty to Phoenix:
“I’m into [year] 11 and it’s been one city that has embraced us and took us in. Talking with my Dad, your name [Diana Taurasi] and Larry Fitzgerald were the two names that came up. He was like ‘follow this blueprint right here’. I’m doing what you guys did.”

This will be fun! I will definitely do my best to compete and play hard like our guys do every single night, and won’t let our Suns fans down! Might be tough at my age 🤷♂️😊
Heading back to the hardwood 🤩
Mat Ishbia will be representing the squad in the 2026 @RUFFLES NBA All-Star Celebrity Game!
Our fans have loved the $2 value menu, so we are going to add more options going forward. Effective Sunday (our next home game), tacos and ice cream sandwiches are also $2. We will always do right by our fans here in Phoenix and invest in making this the best organization in basketball, on and off the court!
