Thank you so much to our families who have generously donated to @CauseHampers. We are still collecting so if you have anything to spare, it will be greatly appreciated! ☺️
A fantastic day building shelters with Mr Shildrick! The Year 4 children learnt how to use a stopper knot and clove hitch to build a shelter out of tarpaulin in the trees. 🪢🌳🏕
An amazing morning of Sports Day fun! The children demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and resilience. It was lovely to see how every group supported and encouraged each other! A big thank you to Mrs Leighton for organising such a wonderful event!
As it was Earth Day yesterday, the Year 4 children have been singing a very special song outside in the sunshine today. After such a long time, it was wonderful to hear their voices again! 🌎 🎶 #EarthDay2021
An amazing six weeks, Year 4 - so very proud of your resilience and commitment to your learning! You all (parents included) deserve a well-earned rest next week! ☺️
Check out this persuasive advert for a dragon catcher! I don’t know about you, but I think I’ll apply today! Amazing, Elijah! 🐉🌟
Crazy hair and I don’t care! This week, the children completed the daily mile (with a twist) at home - 15 minutes of running without stopping! 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️ 🏃
We have started scouting for a dragon catcher in Year 4 this week! What do you think of their job advertisements so far? Not only that, we have been keeping up with our spellings! 🐉
Callum not only completed the persuasive task brilliantly but he did an amazing Harry Wormwood impression! 🚘🤩
Another incredible Dragonology book created today - this one by Lottie...@Talk4Writing @PieCorbett
What a Friday! I have been so impressed with the Dragonology books and reports published by the Year 4 children today! They have written and edited each section each day this week. They are so professionally put together! (Inspired by @PieCorbett and @Talk4Writing)
We have been very creative at home this week and sculpted the digestive system out of all sorts of bits and pieces! Very imaginative, Year 4!
Year 4 have had a wonderful afternoon creating clay pumpkin sculptures as part their Yayoi Kusama art study! We can’t wait to paint them next week - watch this space! 🎃
Year 3 and 4 loved their live session with children’s author, Jo Simmons, this afternoon! The children had to create an idea for a story using these items: 🔑 🏺 🍦 👓 We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
We had a fantastic time yesterday exploring living things and their habitats in our Forest School. A successful and very muddy afternoon! 🌲 🐛 🕷 🐸 🐌
