The hack of Binance that occurred yesterday serves as yet another reminder for those who had not yet grasped the adage: "Not your keys, not your crypto."
Don't trust third parties and prioritize decentralization!
NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR CRYPTO
Only 1581 @argonauts9999 have 4 traits (Gold Relic + Crown/Cloak + Artifact + Sight).
Some of the cleanest combos.
I chose this MuseGreen clean 4T Argo as my pfp not only because it's perfectly balanced and beautiful but also in the hope of a Gold Relic update at some point.
There are only 9977 Argonauts NFTs.
3477 (35%) have the Gold Relic trait.
88 (0.88%) have Gold Bones.
Only 1 (0.01%) wears a Golden Fleece Crown.
No Mercury trait for a lab to artificially create more gold.
Even the most common Argo is a rare fully onchain artwork.

Akash was built on one belief: the cloud should belong to everyone.
The Akash core team believes our next chapter is on Solana, where the DePIN movement thrives.
This is your network, so you decide. Vote on Prop 346: mintscan.io/akash/proposals/…

Ok holders are only flippers and bots. Unless there's a full redistribution, ...
I'll hold onto my 2 pieces because I like them.
TBH I personally find these @votariesxyz pretty cool.
Regarding distribution, it was mostly a free mint + a botted low price public and the top holder hold 5% of the supply.
If it was a cashgrab, there are some efforts behind it, original art + fully onchain on ETH.

On Opensea, look at the blockchain details of your NFT
Decentralized: means that image is stored offchain on a decentralized storage provider.
Centralized: Offchain and stored on the project's own server.
Onchain Metadata: Only metadata is onchain.
Fully onchain = 👍
Pixel art NFTs have no excuse to not be fully onchain.
Especially with current gas prices.
Fully onchain means the image stays accessible until the last block of the chain.
Offchain storage is less reliable and you can end up with an NFT that points to nothing.
Unfortunately, once everyone who actually tries to believe in the collections they like gets exhausted from watching the ongoing NFT comedy (and from serving as exit liquidity), the only people left will be the “traders” flipping pieces for $1 the same way they do with memecoins.

2009: Bitcoin is created as an alternative to a broken financial system.
2026: Crypto traders welcome the same institutions back to pump their bags, selling out the very principles the industry was built on.
Keep going down this path, and 0 becomes a realistic target.
So many traits still left to update, beyond rarity.
Look at the most simple Argonauts you already like not only for what they are but also imagine what they could become.
Art is a good reason to hold.
In the end, will there even be a single common Argonaut?
You could have held onto a void palette before the latest update, unlike this one which has been WETH'ed yesterday.
Same goes for traits not yet animated that might get updated at some point (finger crossed for Gold Relic and MuseGreen).
Do what you want with this info, NFA
Trait updates are unpredictable but once more this one is crazy.
I walked through void and radioactive void charcoal palettes and found this radioactive @argonauts9999 gem 🤯
@lphaCentauriKid kills it with these updates.
Hope that my Argo will catch one soon...
