More evidence for need to revisit how drugs get listed on PBS in Australia. So many inequities. Patients with life-limiting, incurable metastatic cancers often die before TGA approved drug gets onto PBS. For some rare cancers there’ll never be enough evidence to get listed.
A colleague's 22yo son has metastatic Ewing sarcoma, a cancer with poor survival. Another treatment option is available, but the cost is not covered by the PBS & compassionate access has been declined. Consider donating to Jac's fundraising page: treat.rarecancers.org.au/cam…
