My brother died in 2022. I remember him every single day. Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of his transition.
I didn't want to post anything about him so as not to trigger grief in the family again, especially for my mum. She asked me for yesterday's date and I told her but left her room immediately. She was moody all through but pretended like she didn't remember. I deliberately avoided any discussion with her about him cos she's still recovering from her stroke which she had after his demise.
At what point do we actually move on?
Does remembrance actually heal or do more damage to grieving families?

Restart again. Find your spark again. Set goals again. Forgive yourself again. Be a kid again. Trust your guts again. Show up again. Step by step.

I hope you learn how to view yourself from a place of grace, understanding that you will fail at some things while you're great at others. On both days, you're enough.
