Thread 🧵 1/3 Roger Marshall’s problem with the truth didn’t start with Adam Hamilton. His record stretches across multiple campaigns. 2008: The conviction. His reckless-driving conviction was replaced with a lesser traffic offense after intervention by a prosecutor whose father was Marshall’s business partner. The judge said he had been told the original entry reflected an error. Marshall’s campaign later refused to release the case affidavit. kansas.com/news/politics-gov… 2016: Misleading ads against Tim Huelskamp. The Hutchinson News responded: “Here’s a real headline for Roger Marshall: His campaign ad is misleading.” KWCH found that his ad presented older editorial comments as though newspapers were responding to Huelskamp’s latest attack. It also made the Wichita Eagle appear to have published something it hadn’t. kwch.com/content/news/FF12-C… kansasreflector.com/2020/09/… 2016: The ACOG explanation. KWCH reported that Marshall said he had to belong to ACOG to practice as an OB-GYN. ACOG’s own April 2016 statement described membership as voluntary. It wasn’t a general licensing or board-certification requirement. kwch.com/content/news/Submit… acog.org/news/2016/04/acog-s… 2018: Dismissing Alan LaPolice. A contemporary Rod Haxton column challenged Marshall’s portrayal of LaPolice as a “perennial joke” and criticized his limited willingness to debate. This was an opinion rebuttal to a personal attack, rather than a fact check establishing a false policy claim. alpha.creativecirclecdn.com/… 2019 to today: Changing biographical claims. His congressional newsletter claimed 10,000 baby deliveries. His campaign website now headlines “Five thousand babies,” while the text says “more than five thousand.” The campaign should clarify its count; “more than 5,000” can include 10,000. archive.hayspost.com/2019/01… kansansformarshall.com/about… The accompanying screenshots also show Wichita disappearing from the heading and the Wesley residency sentence being removed. Thread 🧵 2/3 Marshall’s explanations also deserve scrutiny on campaign money, medical debt and his own policy record. Qatar and campaign money. He criticized Qatar’s extremist ties in 2019, praised the relationship during his 2023 visit, and defended Qatar as a “great ally” in 2025. This month, he called radical Islam the greatest threat to American democracy and freedom. FEC-derived records for the 2025–26 cycle list $5,000 from Venable’s PAC. Venable lobbies for Qatar. Thread 🧵 3/3 Public office also requires transparency about finances, taxpayer spending, war votes and access to constituents. The outdated Great Bend address. Federal candidate filings continued listing the address of a house Marshall sold in January 2021. He updated it in September 2026. That discrepancy warrants an explanation, although an outdated address alone doesn’t establish unlawful residency. kansasreflector.com/2026/09/… The taxpayer-funded Sugar Bowl trip. An ethics complaint questions approximately $4,000 in New Orleans travel, where Marshall attended the Sugar Bowl. It says the available record contains no evidence of official business there. These are allegations submitted for investigation, with no finding established by the complaint itself. kansasreflector.com/2026/10/… The Iran statements and votes. In March, his own website floated the possibility of leaving Iran in two or three weeks. In June, it praised the Iran memorandum of understanding. He also says he hates war. Across 2025–26, Marshall cast 14 votes against Iran war-powers measures, mostly procedural votes blocking consideration. 🐄 HOLY COW, ROGER. THAT’S HYPOCRISY. The Green New Double Standard Watch Marshall’s opening clip. Then read his own website. In 2023, Marshall championed a law that would reduce methane from cattle, which advanced through the Senate committee chaired by Bernie Sanders. His office published praise from farm cooperative leader Chuck Conner for legislation that could: “reduce methane emissions from livestock and help address the pressing issue of climate change.” In Hamilton’s debate answer, he says he does not support the Green New Deal overall, while acknowledging he supports parts. Marshall’s campaign connected that answer to more misleading attacks. While ignoring their own record and hypocrisy. Hamilton has also discussed cattle-feed additives to reduce methane and pledged to champion Kansas producers. Marshall promotes reducing cattle emissions as innovation, then attacks Hamilton’s environmental concerns as a threat to agriculture. Marshall’s own record shows that supporting Kansas ranchers and reducing livestock emissions can go together. Kansas producers deserve honesty not campaign lies. 📌 Marshall’s announcement: marshall.senate.gov/newsroom… 📌 PolitiFact’s fact check: politifact.com/factchecks/20… 📌 Marshall’s campaign statement: kansansformarshall.com/news/… #Kansas #KansasRanchers #Accountability #KsSen #VoteForChange #Beef #GreenNewDeal #hypocrite #RogerLies

🥩 Roger Marshall’s outrage over beef deserves a closer look at his own voting record. He’s cooked Farmers & Ranchers! Marshall voted to advance legislation requiring cigarette-style FDA warnings on meats and other foods, including bold borders, exclamation-point symbols and statements linking consumption to obesity and diabetes. It’s a warning-label approach Americans recognize from cigarette packaging. The National Pork Producers Council warned that the bill could misclassify nutritious products and discourage consumers from eating them. The Kansas Livestock Association withheld their endorsement of Marshall after previously supporting him. Meanwhile, he attacks Adam Hamilton over a sermon about environmental responsibility. The debunked “repent for eating beef” accusation relied on edited stitched passages from his sermon out of context. Hamilton has explicitly said eating meat and raising cattle are not sins. He’s a proponent and advocate for Kansas farmers and ranchers. Marshall wants his own food-policy position treated as a serious public-health discussion. Hamilton’s remarks deserve the same honesty and context. Kansans deserve clear answers about Marshall’s actual vote, especially while his campaign turns someone else’s sermon into a scare story. Roger Marshall voted in favor of the food labeling bill in the Senate HELP Committee where it was approved 12–10 on July 22, 2026. Only two Republicans voted for this. ⚠️ Marshall / Trump “Big Beautiful Bill” brings billions in projected health care cuts and new costs for Kansas, with major changes arriving after the 2026 midterms. They didn’t want you to feel the pain before you voted. 🏥 Manatt Health projects $3.9 BILLION in combined federal and state Medicaid funding reductions over 10 years, including $2.65 BILLION for Kansas hospitals, and approximately 13,000 fewer Kansans able to enroll. Major hospital payment reductions begin in 2028. 28 rural hospitals are already at risk of closure. 🩺 Reported more than 50,000 figure includes a broader coverage picture. There are reported 36,040 fewer ACA Marketplace enrollments and 25,736 fewer Medicaid enrollments during roughly 2025–2026, a combined decline of 61,776. Those are enrollment declines, the broader picture includes the expiration of enhanced ACA subsidies passed by Roger Marshall. 🍽️ SNAP enrollment fell by approximately 41,000 Kansans, including 18,000 children, between July 2025 and August 2026, alongside tighter federal and state requirements. 💸 Kansas faces approximately $16.4 MILLION in additional annual SNAP administrative costs. Beginning October 2027, the state could owe another $20.6 MILLION to $41 MILLION annually for benefits. Those costs leave Kansas finding additional tax revenue, redirecting existing funds or cutting services elsewhere. What will Ty Masterson do? 👷 These programs support working families. In 2024, approximately 255,600 Kansas Medicaid beneficiaries under 65 lived in families with a worker, roughly 76%. That includes children with working parents. USDA’s updated 2024 figures also show approximately 24,000 Kansas SNAP households had earnings in an average month. Having a job does not eliminate the need for help with groceries and health care. Kansans deserve the full picture before Election Day. #Kansas #HealthCare #RuralKansas #Election2026 #KsSen #KsLeg #Masterson #Trump #Marshall #BBB

💰 The common theme for the MAGA statewide Republican slate: generosity for powerful interests, followed by lectures about responsibility for everyone else. America has heard this promise before. In the 1920s, Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon promoted business tax cuts as a path to shared prosperity. The Great Depression had many causes, but its devastation showed why families needed protections. Roosevelt’s New Deal provided jobs, banking safeguards and Social Security. Nearly a century later, consider these priorities: 🏛️ Roger Marshall voted for the 2025 Republican tax and spending law. CBO projects fewer resources for households with the lowest incomes, gains for households with upper middle and high incomes, and trillions added to federal deficits. Our children inherit the borrowing. Masterson, Hawkins and Proctor voted to give qualifying data centers 20 years of sales tax exemptions. Ordinary Kansans deserve an equally serious commitment to affordability. 🏟️ Masterson and Hawkins also supported the 2026 sports authority and STAR bond legislation covering stadium financing and major amusement parks. Kansans deserve clear public benefits, including whether average families can afford admission to projects they help support. Masterson backed the Brownback tax experiment and opposed its repeal in 2017. He and Hawkins continue advocating a flat income tax. Kansans already experienced the budget problems, sales tax increase and spending cuts that followed Brownback’s promises. ⚖️ Kobach’s failed defense of unconstitutional voter registration restrictions left Kansas responsible for $1.9 million in negotiated attorney fee judgments. 🗳️ Proctor was recorded saying he wanted to eliminate early voting and restrict mail ballots to military and severely disabled voters. Voters should weigh his statements alongside his push to eliminate the mail ballot grace period. Voting should be secure, accessible and fair. 🤖 Proctor also proposed AI business guidance and legislation exempting companies from regulatory fines when the state’s website inadequately explains their obligations. Clear guidance should help businesses comply while preserving enforceable protections for workers and consumers but business law enforcement and compliance are not roles for the Secretary of State or its Artificial Intelligence investment. These candidates seek different offices, but the question is the same: whose interests will government protect? ✂️ Cut benefits for those who need them. 💸 Give tax breaks to those who don’t. 🧒 Leave the bill to those too young to vote. Then call it “fiscal responsibility.” 🌻 Kansans deserve government that protects their rights, spends wisely, makes everyday life affordable and invests in their children’s future. #KansasPolitics #Election2026 #FiscalResponsibility #PeopleOverProfits #Vote #KsLeg #KsSen #Election2026

While Kansans pay more for health insurance and property taxes, insurance-linked donors and Koch-linked groups are helping finance politicians asking for even more power. Through 2025, Kansas’s average annual employer-sponsored family health insurance premium increased about 162% since Ty Masterson entered the Legislature in 2005. Total statewide property-tax levies increased about 115% over that period. Since Dan Hawkins entered the Legislature in 2013, those increases were approximately 63% for family health insurance premiums and 66% for statewide property-tax levies. And in 2026, the average ACA benchmark silver premium for a family of four in Kansas jumped another 28.9% before tax credits, a separate measure showing the pressure on families buying their own coverage. Meanwhile, Hawkins’s Kansas Insurance Commissioner campaign has received at least $109,766.60 in insurance-linked contributions from businesses, industry PACs and individuals with identifiable insurance ties. The industry he would be asked to regulate. Groups with documented Koch funding connections account for more than $9 million in reported Kansas election spending and reserved advertising, overwhelmingly benefiting Masterson. With more disclosure reports still coming in. Those financial relationships deserve scrutiny. Whose interests come first when the people paying the bills need protection from the industries helping finance these campaigns? Every Kansan deserves representation, including those who don’t vote for you. That is why the attached October 5, 2025 radio clip matters. Former Wichita Rep. John Whitmer complains that “Lawrence and parts of Leavenworth and Johnson County are running the show.” He then declares, “Lawrence is not Kansas.” Hawkins agrees, then adds, “The People’s Republic of Lawrence?” When Whitmer says communities in NE Kansas don’t represent the state, Hawkins agrees: “No, they don’t.” Lawrence is Kansas. Leavenworth is Kansas. Every community in Johnson County is Kansas. Their residents pay insurance premiums, file claims, own businesses, support schools and pay taxes. Their political views do not diminish their right to fair treatment or representation. Hawkins is asking those same people to trust him as insurance commissioner after three decades in the insurance business. Kansas News Service reports that his financial disclosures list income from multiple insurance companies. He owes voters a clear explanation of how he would put policyholders first when regulating the industry that has provided his livelihood. Masterson campaigns on “Take Back Kansas.” A PAC supporting him is officially named Take Back Kansas Action Inc. Take it back from whom? Masterson and Hawkins have spent six years leading the Kansas Legislature. They owe voters an accounting of the power they have already held and the decisions they have already made. Masterson also owes Kansans transparency about his financial relationships. The Kansas City Star reported that he received more than $1.1 million over a decade for directing GoCreate, a Koch-funded program at Wichita State. He has also held leadership positions in Koch-funded ALEC, whose model legislation has shaped many Kansas laws. Voters deserve to know how those relationships influence his priorities, and whose interests he will serve when those interests conflict. Candidates should explain how they will make insurance affordable, strengthen schools, support communities and improve life across Kansas. They can challenge policies without dismissing entire communities or treating political disagreement as evidence that someone doesn’t belong. Public office carries a responsibility to serve every constituent. Nobody should have to pass a political loyalty test to count as a Kansan. If they are this dismissive while asking for our votes, imagine how they will act with even more power. #KsLeg #KsGov #Kansas #insurance #Taxes #Election2026 #VoteForChange

🌻 DON’T FIGHT YOUR NEIGHBOR. FIGHT CORRUPTION. Fox News’ October 9–12 poll found 88% of registered voters were extremely or very concerned about government corruption. The highest percentage among the issues tested. Inflation and high prices registered 85%; gas prices, 83%. Since President Trump returned to office in January 2025, he and his family have collected at least $2.3 BILLION in profits from cryptocurrency ventures alone, according to Reuters. Meanwhile, Common Cause reports that members of Congress traded more than $1.2 BILLION in stocks between January 1 and October 6, 2026. Investing in companies affected by your own legislative decisions creates conflicts that deserve scrutiny. Here’s the financial squeeze facing Kansas households: ⛽ Kansas gasoline: up 44.3%. 🚛 Kansas diesel: up 76.6%. Across the Midwest, which includes Kansas, prices increased over the year ending September 2026: 🏠 Housing: up 4.4%. 🛒 Groceries: up 1.5%. 💡 Electricity: up 8.8%. 🔥 Natural gas service: up 1.9%. 🎒 Tuition, school fees and childcare: up 3.5%. Kansas taxes and fees add to the pressure: 🧾 Total residential property taxes levied statewide rose 7.1% in 2025, from approximately $3.70 billion to $3.96 billion. That total includes new taxable property; changes in individual homeowners’ bills vary. 🚗 Kansas passenger-vehicle registration fees increased in January 2026: hybrid fees rose 40%, plug-in hybrid fees 100%, and all-electric vehicle fees 65%. These costs come from different decisions across government and the private sector. They still land in the same household budget. Adam Hamilton has proposed concrete reforms: prohibit individual-stock trading by members of Congress and their households, extend the restrictions to cryptocurrency and digital assets, and require divestment or a qualified blind trust. He also supports a constitutional amendment establishing congressional term limits. His platform calls for banning hidden junk fees and restoring overdraft-fee protections, too. Senator Roger Marshall’s record raises serious questions about conflicts of interest. Watchdog groups have requested a Senate ethics investigation into alleged use of taxpayer-funded travel and staff for campaign purposes. Other media documented his longstanding healthcare-business ties to donor Dan Tasset and his support for legislation loosening physician-owned-hospital restrictions; a separate investigation identified legislation that could benefit agricultural companies in which Marshall’s wife invested. Those reports raise concerns about potential self-dealing, rather than establish a proven donation-for-legislation agreement. FEC reports for his 2020 and 2026 Senate election periods show approximately $4.86 million from PACs and other political committees. His donors also include Andrew King and Joshua Finestone, U.S. lobbyists registered to represent the Middle Eastern country Qatar, whose contributions totaled $2,500 in 2025 along with $7,500 from their PAC. Marshall co-sponsored stock-purchase restrictions, but his supported bill permits lawmakers to retain existing holdings. Kansans deserve enforceable safeguards, independent scrutiny and clear answers about whose interests their senator serves. Kansans deserve affordable housing, manageable bills and elected officials who answer to the people they represent. Hold every official to the same standard, regardless of party. Don’t fight your neighbor. Fight corruption. Our votes. Our Kansas. #KsSen #KsLeg #Election2026 #VoteForChange #Corruption #Kansas

🗳️ Only citizens can vote in Kansas. That’s already the law. So why change the Constitution? United Kansas candidate for secretary of state Scott Morgan asks that question in today’s Topeka Capital-Journal. In 1918, Kansans voted nearly 3 to 1 to end voting eligibility for noncitizens. The “Every citizen” language we have today has served that purpose for more than a century. Now, a proposed amendment would replace that affirmative protection with language beginning: “No person shall be deemed a qualified elector unless…” Before rewriting our fundamental rights, lawmakers owe Kansans a clear explanation of what problem they’re solving. The amendment itself requires no new citizenship documents. But Scott raises a serious concern about whether its wording could be used to justify additional barriers for eligible citizens in the future. As Scott writes: “A constitution is not ordinary legislation, and we should not amend it merely because we can.” Protect every eligible citizen’s right to vote. Vote NO on the constitutional amendment November 3. Read Scott’s column: Is changing Kansas voting language really necessary? cjonline.com/story/opinion/c… #UnitedKansas #ScottMorgan #KsLeg #Vote #Election2026

.@JDVance wants English PROFEISHHINCY to be mandatory. He might want to start with “proficiency.” 😂 He’s coming to Kansas Monday to campaign for @RogerMarshallMD. Here is his speech checklist: ✅ Attack a Methodist pastor’s Christianity. 👉 Loving your neighbor includes neighbors who vote differently. ✅ Insist tariffs are working. 👉 Kansans pay those duties. Calling them a victory doesn’t erase the bill for Kansas consumers. ✅ Explain that Trump is amazing. 👉 Praise doesn’t lower the grocery bill or gas price. ✅ Blame Biden for everything expensive. 👉 This administration has to answer for its own decisions. It’s been two years. ✅ Blame Chuck Schumer for everything else. 👉 Republicans control the White House, House and Senate. Own the results. You are in charge. ✅ Assume the protester must be “illegal.” 👉 Disagreeing with the vice president proves nothing about someone’s immigration status. ✅ Turn an Epstein question into an immigration rant. 👉 The question was about Epstein. Answer it. ✅ Recycle the cats-and-dogs nonsense. 👉 Springfield officials reported no credible evidence supporting that story. He still repeats it. ✅ Act surprised when asked about failures in Iran. 👉 You’re the vice president. Getting informed is part of the job. Veterans & service members demand answers. ✅ Praise free speech until somebody uses it. 👉 Dissent is part of democracy even when it’s aimed at you. Kansans deserve answers about their bills, their healthcare and this war. Bring some. #Kansas #JDVance #RogerMarshall #KsSen #KsLeg #VoteForChange
