INDEPENDENCE DAY SAFETY ALERT
As we celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day, the Ogun State Ministry of Environment, through the Office of Public Safety, reminds all residents to prioritize safety in every activity.
Large gatherings, parades, and celebrations are expected across
the State. We therefore urge citizens to:
•Observe proper waste disposal to keep our environment clean.
•Avoid open burning and indiscriminate use of fireworks.
•Exercise caution in traffic and adhere strictly to road safety rules.
•Ensure children are closely
supervised during outdoor events.
Your safety and a clean environment remain our utmost concern. Let us celebrate responsibly and work together for a safer, healthier Ogun.
