The more than $500 million of provincial investment in Ottawa will go toward economic recovery, including in the downtown core; shelters and support for the homeless; public safety, including more officers in the ByWard Market; and transportation, including rural roads, a highway interchange in Barrhaven, and bus rapid transit in Kanata. This will help us deal with financial pressures and deliver better service to our residents.
