Hello everyone! 👋🏽
It's a new week, and I think it's a good time to introduce myself to those who don't know me yet.
I'm Adeyemo Aduke, popularly known as Monkele. I'm a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience, passionate about turning ideas into digital products that solve real-life problems.
I work across different industries, including Fintech, E-commerce, Real Estate, EdTech, AI and mobile applications.
My design process goes beyond creating beautiful interfaces. I'm interested in understanding problems, researching users, exploring ideas and designing solutions that make people's lives easier.
But here's something about me: I don't want to limit myself to just designing screens.
I'm interested in product thinking, exploring business ideas, understanding how startups grow and discovering opportunities beyond the design space.
One of the products I've been working on is MK Transportation, a logistics and relocation platform designed to make moving goods and personal belongings across Nigeria easier, safer and more reliable.
The platform connects people who need to move their belongings with transporters. It features transporter matching, price offers, load tracking and an escrow payment system that protects customers by holding payments until successful delivery is confirmed.
I've worked on the product concept and user experience, and I'm looking to sell the product to a founder or business interested in taking it further and bringing it to market.

I applied for a job as a Product Designer. There was no section on my CV that tagged me as a Brand Designer, but after the last interview, they couldn’t decide between me and the other candidates, so they gave us a task: to design the brand for the company. 😭
I knew I probably wouldn’t get the job, but I gave it my all and spent days working on the brand design, with support from my guy.
I cooked this, but I didn’t get the job.
The takeaway is… I don’t know, but I might go into Brand Design soon. 😭

Not every design needs a redesign. I believe most designers have a reason for placing a card in a particular position.
Sometimes, it's about accessibility. Designers prioritise accessibility based on their target users.
Some designs are more about accessibility than aesthetics.

I’ve been working on EasyStream’s sign-up screen, and I wanted it to do more than just let people create an account.
EasyStream lets creators stream to multiple platforms at once, so I wanted the design to communicate that experience before users even enter the product. 🧵👇
