Your sectarian constituents may applaud this but Birmingham in general wants bins collected - more than anything else. That is your day job.
My maiden speech! We passed what we wanted but more importantly we passed what Birmingham wanted. And silencing reform always has its own happiness 😂 YOUR councillor Raihaan Abbas

This is how the Net Zero bollocks works … The “green” ferry project in Scotland was supposed to cost £97 Million. And has actually cost taxpayers about £500 MILLION! … and now they will fund another £600,000 for specialist consultants because ferry staff need training to handle imported LNG. And that LNG is imported via Kent before being transported hundreds of miles to Scotland…. Using diesel. After all of that, the CO₂ saving is less than 9% er …. And that’s optimistic! The entire exercise has been a pointless waste of Taxpayers money for private companies profit! … 🤡

Andy Burnham is facing a Labour backlash over plans to ban new oil and gas exploration in the North Sea, with his own MPs accusing him of hypocrisy for allowing Britain to become increasingly reliant on imported energy. Backbenchers said the government’s decision to outlaw new exploration licences amounted to an “act of self-harm”, which would put jobs at risk and deprive the Treasury of billions in potential tax revenues. Will the net-zero zealots in Downing Street listen? #CostOfNetZero

It is baffling and frankly immoral that we will import Russian produce from Putin’s evil regime - but not drill for our own.
The Prime Minister has backed an energy bill that would put into law a prohibition on more exploration in the North Sea. In response, Labour backbenchers said it was “hypocritical” for Mr Burnham to be prepared to import gas while opposing drilling in the North Sea ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

This Birmingham councillor represents a ward where only *half* of working-age people are employed. And over the past few years, people in Birmingham have watched their council go bankrupt, alongside a two-year bin strike. And yet he's banging on about the Middle East.
Last night 54 councillors cross party backed the ethical investment motion at Birmingham Full Council💚 Now comes accountability. We need action, transparency and regular updates not another motion gathering dust Calling on councillors across the West Midlands to follow suit 👏🏽

Nick: Can you say that there be measures taken to cut the welfare bill before the next GE? James Murray: We will make changes. Nick: Will there be savings? James Murray: We will make changes. Labour won’t cut welfare but they just won’t be honest.

So let me get this right. Mortgage up £330 a month. Rates up to 4%. Inflation could hit 5% next year. Savers finally get a decent rate and hear talk of new taxes on it. Borrow and you're punished. Save and you're punished. Who exactly is this country working for?

Conservative MP Gregory Stafford accused Louise Haigh of “inadvertently misleading the House” twice following yesterday’s PMQs. And she literally ran off. The Speaker should have called her back to address the allegations and correct the record. Ministers must be held accountable for what they say in Parliament.

Based on the absurd notion that if we drill in the North Sea, our consumption of oil will increase. It won't. It just means we'll be using more domestic oil and gas than imported stuff. The amount of carbon released remains the same.
Norway is now richer per person than Britain, Germany, France and Sweden thanks to North Sea oil & gas. Britain has 7.5 billion barrels of oil beneath its own waters and yet imports a third of its gas from Norway instead….this decision is utter madness!

Andy Burnham is protecting Jonathan Powell. Ed Miliband refuses to answer questions about him, when the FCDO do answer, they repeat the same identical non-answer. Now the Government won’t confirm if they are blocking the media from reporting on him. What are Labour hiding?
September 2024: Jonathan Powell, now National Security Advisor, Chairs a meeting in Beijing for the Grandview Institution, allegedly a Chinese Intelligence Service front. While serving as the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for the Chagos Islands. September 2026: MI5 issues an unprecedented warning over Chinese intelligence using fronts to trick British institutions and individuals into assisting them. October 2026: British Government claims all engagements are conducted in line with unspecified ‘policies and procedures.’ November 2026: British Government says there are no specific ‘policies and procedures for engagement with overseas research institutes and policy organisations.’ So, the National Security Advisor chaired this meeting in-line with policies and procedures, just we can’t know which, because there are no defined policies and procedures? Our national security is protected by policies which don’t exist depending which month you ask. Make it make sense.

Got to love a Labour MP saying this, whose own leader diverts a private plane several hundred miles because he can’t be arsed to get a train to London.
Yup, that’s why we’re getting off fossil fuels. Fossil fuels mean higher prices and higher interest rates.

Rejoiners…are you happy for your pension funds to be invested by the EU?
Ursula von der Leyen looked at €10 TRILLION of your savings and saw a problem 😂 Not her money. YOUR money. Your pension. Your rainy-day fund. The cash you saved for your kids. Brussels calls it "idle" and wants it "mobilised" into her projects. First they tell you to keep cash for a 72-hour emergency. Then they eye up your bank account. Next comes the digital euro. Nobody elected this woman. Keep your hands off our savings, you rotten bureaucrats

In 2014, Louise Haigh pleaded guilty, at magistrates' court, to dishonestly reporting a work mobile phone as stolen to obtain a replacement. Today, she stood in for Burnham at PMQs. Not only do @UKLabour have ZERO shame, but clearly @UKParliament has no standards. #NeverLabour

What I want to know is what the end goal is here. Legislate that Zionism is racism and then what? Jail Jews? Fire them from their jobs? Send them to reeducation camps? Ban all Zionist prayers and passages from Jewish practices? The answer is yes because all of the above and worst actually happened to Soviet Jews, and that’s the one thing Zach will never tell you.
One Day, Everyone will have always been against this
