It was wonderful to be joined by @MontyTrackStar yesterday at our London empowerment event as part of our Set for Success programme, funded by the @WimbledonFdn in partnership with @BarclaysUK.
Montell is an inspiration and we're sure that her words, her passion and her story left a lasting impression on the young people from six local schools celebrating their progress on the programme with us yesterday.

It's been wonderful having our Athlete Mentor @MontyTrackStar here with us on the final day of our Youth Sport Trust Youth Leadership Camp! ❤️
Her incredible story and her amazing energy are so inspiring so she was the perfect person for this morning's keynote talk which touched on the power that sport has to not only transform but improve lives! 🙌

Congratulations for making and finding your way back on track with the help of your sponsors.
This partnership is testament to being resilient and overcoming adversity... Bouncing back better than ever by being given a chance 🇬🇧🏅
My name is Desirèe *Determined* Henry and I’m a 2x OLYMPIAN 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
GOD I THANK YOU 😭
@DandG_Global You believed me and urgently took the biggest step to get me back into full-time training with everything I could need! So in a moment like this, I say…#WEDIDIT 😭🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
This is sometimes all that is needed! 🙌🏾
Someone, or something to take a chance on you to get back to where you were. Athletes often struggle after a bout of tough times to return due to lack of resource, time; maybe due to needing to work & then lifestyle factors are affected.
We're thrilled to announce Desirèe Henry has made the #TeamGB athletics squad for the #Paris2024Olympics👏
Her hard work, dedication & resilience have truly paid off. We're honoured to be part of her journey & can’t wait to see her shine on the world stage💙
Good luck Desirèe🏅
