In March, 7 students came to school on a Sat for Conundrum Day to make Bluebird Nesting Boxes. One excited student just sent me this, “When I open the birdhouse...We’re gonna have some baby bluebirds!!!!!” Making connections, pic of his female, pic of clutch in my box.
This absolutely warmed my heart & put a smile on my face! 8 of my students joined Zoom meeting this morn & decided to meet weekly. Just checking in, sharing, & they asked for more home challenges. Pic of fort challenge this week. Baking challenge for next Week. #missmystudents
We have been working on a 1950’s Cold War unit & students brainstormed how the corona virus may have spread and been addressed, then vs now. Each class, students want to start with updates, news, concerns, and a discussion of the CV-19. Running out of room. Knowledge is power.
Enjoying collaborating with @ktalley75 on “Shakespeare Set In Another Time”. Rewriting Act 3 Scene 2 in the mobsters, modern, gangsters, hippies, and 50’s eras.
