More honesty. More kindness. More conversations that matter. Less shouting into the void. Trying to make this corner of X a little more human. #MoreManKind

QOTD: It’s funny how we can spend years thinking we know exactly what we want, only to change our minds completely. I used to think that meant I’d got something wrong. Now I believe it just means I’m not the same person I was ten years ago. And that’s probably a good thing. #QuoteOfTheDay

We tell men to speak up, but do we always make it easy for them? I’ve written about why so many men stay silent about domestic abuse and the important work of the ManKind Initiative. My piece: mankindmensnetwork.substack.… Support: mankind.org.uk/

QOTD: The older I get, the more I realise I don’t always need to have the last word. I can disagree with someone without needing to change their mind. And they don’t have to agree with me either. Sometimes it’s better to leave it there. Life’s too short to turn every difference of opinion into a battle. #QuoteOfTheDay

QOTD: I’ve never understood why we treat changing direction as a failure. Sometimes you get halfway through something and realise it’s not for you. Surely that’s better than carrying on just to prove a point? Unless you’ve joined the wrong queue at Tesco. Then you’re committed. #QuoteOfTheDay

QOTD: I love how kids can ask a perfectly sensible question and leave a room full of adults looking completely clueless. 😂 Perhaps we should all ask more questions instead of pretending we know everything. Although I’d still like to know why we call it rush hour when nobody’s bloody moving! #QuoteOfTheDay

QOTD: Why do we always say we’ll do things when life calms down? I’m starting to think that’s a load of crap. There’s always something going on, isn’t there? Might as well get on with enjoying ourselves rather than waiting for the perfect moment. Knowing my luck, when life finally calms down I’ll be too knackered to get off the sofa. 😂

QOTD: I think one of the nicest things about getting older is realising you don’t have to be good at everything. You can try something new, be absolutely rubbish at it and still have a brilliant time. Although these days, one cartwheel could put me on the NHS waiting list. 😂 #QuoteOfTheDay
