A strong message against sexual violence and in support of women's safety was displayed during the Dasara procession in Gonikoppal, Kodagu district, Karnataka. The message, “Stop Rape, Respect Women,” called for an end to sexual violence and demanded the death penalty for rapists. The campaign highlighted the need to protect women, ensure their safety and deliver justice to survivors of sexual violence. The message drew attention to the demand for stricter punishment for those convicted of rape. The message was displayed during the Dasara procession in Gonikoppal, bringing the issue of women's safety into public focus.
