So sad to hear about the untimely death of the wonderful Sean Rocks. He was the voice of the arts in Ireland and his passion was palpable in each and every programme but I have such fond memories of his great performance in Frank Pig Says Hello at Andrews Lane Theatre. RIP Sean.

We would like to express our great sadness at the passing of Irish poet and @Aosdana member Michael Longley. "Through a vital career that spanned decades, Longley leaves a rich legacy of poetry and praise." - Chair of the Arts Council, Maura McGrath artscouncil.ie/News/Arts-Cou…
Photographic portrait of Michael Longley by Bobbie Hanvey. A person with grey hair raises their hand to their face, with a finger resting under their lip. They look directly at the camera. They wear a dark jacket and the background is dark.

Why do we have to keep asking - where are the women? And indeed other minorities. Beyond frustrating

Unbelievable memories of d’unbelievables at Andrews Lane. RIP Jon.

Such sad news to reach us on the passing of Jon Kenny. He graced our Main Stage many times, as part of the D'unbelievables with and also in John B. Keane's 'The Matchmaker'. Always a professional and most importantly a very friendly visitor. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Great to get the Capital City Plan for launched. Dublin is a fantastic city but it can and it will do better. The Plan identifies ‘10 Big Moves’ to make Dublin a more thriving, attractive, and safe cityscape; and a more desirable location to live, work, do business and visit.
