If you check, this person is today insisting he is the one to save Nigeria.
"I urged Peter Obi to conduct local government elections, but he refused. Instead, he chose to wreck havoc and sponsor rebellions within the party to ensure he was the sole candidate on the ballot." — Victor Umeh

APC: 11 Years In Power, Yet Still Looking To The Past — Adamolekun Eight years of Buhari and three years of Tinubu make 11 years of APC rule, yet the party is still referring to people who were in power years ago. Campaigning in a state it lost three years ago, the conversation should be centred on what has changed, not blaming the opposition for how people feel today. Adamolekun Opeyemi Active Citizen

So you want me to publicly "rage" about my friend of 35 years to entertain you? Over 1m people were dragging my friend of 35 years for his view and you expect me to pour fuel on him and join you in mobbing him? Sorry, I'm not that kind of friend.
Replying to @SirJarus
Didn’t your best friend here suggest school fees should be minimum 1m? I didn’t see you rage about it.

lol 😂… he is saying what he believes na. Leave him. Every major faith claims ultimate truth. This is why your post misses the entire point of what religion is.  For Christianity to be true to its followers, it must assert that its path is the only way to salvation. By default, that means anyone who does not accept that path is heading to hell. The pastor is just stating the core doctrine of his faith. We Muslims hold the exact same standard. Islam is very clear and unapologetic about this. The Almighty Allah has already decided and stated it plainly in the Quran that whoever dies upon disbelief is going to the hellfire. We do not sugarcoat this to make non-Muslims feel better. The verdict is already established, so it is not a matter of waiting for the Day of Judgement to figure out where a disbeliever is heading. Telling people they will face consequences in the afterlife is not inciting physical violence or breaching the peace. It is just theology. What he said is not unlawful within the confines of freedom of religion and speech. The law cannot police religious doctrines or stop people from preaching their scriptures just because someone gets offended.  Let the man preach his beliefs to his congregation. We Muslims already know where his own path leads based on our own texts. Everyone should just face their front and stand on their beliefs.
This preaching is not lawful. Condemning another religion so openly can easily breach the peace. Pastors should do better. The law is not emotional.

The reality of an ideal sunni marriage in the UK is something I should write about someday in Sha Allah. For now, let me just pen down a few observations of my own. When I first arrived the UK, I was looking for anything to do to get money, I was doing a few jobs through my marketing consultancy and also working with a Taiwan based company remotely, yet all the money was never going to be enough to pay my monthly bills, I had to pay about £8k balance in my school fees for my masters degree in AI and Data Science, and also had family to support back home, and I might become homeless if not careful. So I went into chicken factory to make extra money. On resuming at the factory, I saw a young lady on the line working there, she was serving chicken and hustling just like everyone else, but something caught my attention, she kept looking at me and smiling, I pretended as if I didn't notice until other people started noticing and asked if I knew her, then time came for a break, she invited me to her table and from there we started talking, she told me she was very happy to see me because she felt some sense of relief seeing someone who appears to be a Muslim like herself, then she told the bombshell, she had just removed her niqob, apparently she was in a similar financial mess like myself and she used to wear niqob before coming to the UK, then she came and realized she needed to support herself financially and had to do anything possible, so the niqob removal is one of the quick means for her to survive. This is not an uncommon scenario for many Muslims striving on the Deen, the moment you arrive the UK and realize you needed to compromise some huge part of your Deen, the experience becomes devastating, and the worst part is, this situation never gets better, especially as a family, your Deen and uprightness begins to deteriorate gradually, the values you have instilled in your wife and children begins to wash away, some people loose it completely even up to daily solawat, because here, a job and source of income is not just a necessity it is a means to keep your visa and finish whatever you are here for, so you might need to treat it as your new God. If the environment requires you to forgo your values, religious commitments or spirituality you might not becable to think about it twice. And for many women, it is harder to find themselves and values back once they get lost in this circle, I wouldn't say women are quick to loose their uprightness more than men, but what I have observed is how many women tend to always seems to enjoy it more than men, if had the chance, a lot of men would have returned back to their countries, but the refusal is always more from the women, as I have seen many often say the deterioration in spirituality is often worth it as far as it makes the future of their children better, you will often see many throwing all caution to the winds trying to buy this, investing in that, and putting children in the best UK schools. For an upright man, he might want to evaluate consequences and possibly not want to move so fast into the deterioration, but it becomes often too late because he can't make the decision alone, the wife is also now a decision maker unless he might find himself in trouble. This is just an example of a scenario, I have many more to share in Sha Allah. I know a Muslim brother we pray together that returned his wife and children to Ghana and withdrew their passports. I know of another who told me he has destroyed his own life because he stands the chance of losing his four children and wife forever if he ever try to return home, and he has up to three houses built in Nigeria already, yet he lives as a slave under the control of the wife. I know a man who has ended up In jail because he was a Muslim and couldn't bare to see his teenage daughter have a boyfriend,

This is really embarrassing. On election day in Osun, while party members were exhausted from months of campaigning and anxiously awaiting results, you chose to post a skit. At the time, INEC results already showed Adeleke leading by over 25,000 votes. That night, I called to explain how demoralising that was, especially coming from the Youth Leader. Instead of listening, you got upset and ended the call. Look at the reactions to your latest post, because you are competing and fighting with someone. Must your personal issues come before the party and the President? Dayo, you need friends who will tell you the truth. At a time when millions are making sacrifices and trusting that reforms will deliver results, this kind of conduct is not helpful. Do better Dayo!

exactly what I said yesterday. Twitter(X) and police stations have smtin in common whoever reports first has the upper hand. The mob would have poured petrol & burnt d accused alive before hearing their side. Same thing with marital disputes. First to post controls the narrative

We have done too many messy divorce cases that you know how glowingly partners tell their stories. On both sides. Most times, I’ve come to the realization that parties are too embarrassed to state what the actual problem is. They’ll hang on to whatever version is believed to be less embarrassing. It is cross examination that brings out some truth even from your own client.😭 Husband and wife matter, just leave it alone o.

Similar story happen to a brother here on X. Because he is less educated, he sponsored the wife's Masters and he got attached to the wife visa. Less than 6 months after arrival she started threatening the husband and started cheating in less than 1 year, everyone called him
The day women begins to prioritise themselves in marriages, we will have significantly less heartbreaks like this one. If I explained my options, they will start crying again on my mention. Survival of the fittest and elimination of the unfit, Take out unnecessary sentiments once you see the hand writing on the wall. The Japa group of 2022 had options, She could have completely detached Herself from His COS, She was working, earning better, Priority would have been to sort Her immigration status independent of Him. Thats number 1 2, once He begins His film, Na to either send kids to Naija, sort myself out first then readjust and bring the kids back Either way divorce will still happen so no use being unnecessarily emotional about someone who doesn't give a hoot about it. Life itself is unfair, create your own fairness in it. It is what it is. Love sensibly or learn the hard way. Divorce and single parenthood is brutal on women than it will ever be on Men. The simple truth, He will re marry, He is allowed 4, so take care of your own 1. Fakati Write nonsense under my post, ko fo ri gba epe. Ika lo po ju ninu yin
