Today was the first day of class for my Ed.L.D. Program at @hgse! I’m so excited to start this new chapter in my journey. I wanted to share some of the highlights of my day with you. #education #leadership #firstdayofschool #harvard

It’s our first day of school in Cambridge! We are all pretty excited for what this new school year will bring. (and only one of us cried 😅)

What a full circle moment — as I step away from Fleming, I leave it in the hands of two incredible leaders who once guided me as my supervisors. I stand on their shoulders, and I’m honored to have my journey come full circle through theirs.

The anchor leg is here! From 6th grade to Geometry, our students are closing out STAAR strong. Our Math team has built skill, confidence, and endurance. The baton is theirs — and the finish line is in sight. Let’s bring it home! #FinishLineFocus #STAARReady #VikingStrong

Today, our 8th graders take on the Social Studies STAAR — with a team that’s made history come alive, built confidence, and trained for this moment. Let’s go, Social Studies! #STAARReady #VikingStrong #GoForGold

The work has been done. The foundation has been laid. And today, we know: Our team is built to run strong. Cheering loudly for our Science team and students as they take us one step closer to the finish line! #GoForGold #STAARReady #VikingStrong

After years of leading, learning, and dreaming big in Texas, I’m excited to share that I’m joining the Ed.L.D. Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education (@hgse) this fall! Grateful for the journey—and ready to lead systems-level change. #EdLD #HGSE #NextChapter

I’m so proud of our students and staff for their commitment to Go for Gold this year. The quality of instruction, intentional lesson internalization, and openness to feedback and coaching have been nothing short of inspiring. ELAR has the first leg! Let’s run our race, Vikings.

My next adventure is rooted in a simple belief: education isn’t just about what you know — it’s about how you use it. As W.E.B. Du Bois reminds us, “The trained mind must not be kept for itself; it must be used.” Excited to keep growing, learning, and leading! #EdLD #HGSE

I am witnessing first-hand the impact of updated immigration policies on children and families. It’s heartening to see the fierce advocacy and support by school and district leaders for those who are innocently caught in the fray! apple.news/AGKg6oQDUSZqvFsKu…

Sometimes you gotta pop out and show the staff how much you appreciate them. Thanks to @DoADoubleGood for helping me celebrate the amazing @flemingvikings staff!
