David Custoff (if it’s misspelled, I don’t care, turncoat) was the Republican Congress member from Tennessee that was pushing for a change in the bill to NOT remove suppressors from the NFA. The reason why is supposedly silencer central was in his ear, influencing him to not have it removed. Supposedly it is because of their business model and if the suppressors are removed from the NFA then there business model process dealing with tax stamps would be affected. Currently the rumors point to this as most likely. However, as you continue to research and do some digging, here on this post, what you find.
