Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit
They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL
Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭

I relate to this scene in Cowboy Bebop a lot. Definitely went through this during most of my 20s...so grateful I've overcome that now and embraced/integrated my inner child.

It’s a hobby, not a job lol I get wanting recognition, because it’s enjoyable to receive it. But ultimately, you should write for your own enjoyment so if nothing else, you alone can be happy with what you’ve made. If people like it, great! If they don’t, then at least you do.
