Researching, designing, building and testing bridges. Quite impressed with the strength of both these bridges and my students as they persevered through their first STEM lab this year! #STEMeducation

We had our first virtual NJHS meeting yesterday! What a wonderful way to start my day... so many smiling faces of amazing kids! Can't wait for induction on Monday! Congrats! @vfasy @cbrmiller @JKircher007 @kvewerth1
Students created 3-D models of Earth's Spheres and labeled their interaction. I loved seeing their creativity with the materials they had around their houses! They even told me that they had FUN in science class (virtually) yesterday. It was a true win, win!!
THANK YOU @Lin_Manuel for teaching the @CollegeBoard APUSH review class today. It’s the motivation my @HamiltonMusical loving kid needed!!!!!
I asked my students for some feedback today and one question was “what do you miss most about our class?” This response brought be to tears. I miss them so much 😢

School is NOT closed for the year. The building is. If you listen closely you can hear the hum of hard working teachers, administrators, and support staff preparing to save the day in ways and means never seen before. Yes, we are brokenhearted, but these broken hearts will lead

Fun Friday playing @GetKahoot with some students via @zoom_us. Missing their faces and thankful for technology.
Sharing ideas and helping each other is how we are all going to make it through this. Oh, and washing your hands too!!!
