P1 @StrathmorePS used what they have been learning about @EmotionWorksCIC orange cog to describe how the characters feel in Jack and the Beanstalk. 馃А鈿欙笍馃尡 Next steps are to learn about the yellow cog. 馃挍鈿欙笍
P1 @StrathmorePS have started their @EmotionWorksCIC journey by learning about the orange cog. They drew black pen drawings showing different emotions that they know. Next steps are to apply their knowledge of emotion words to characters in stories.
The perfect morning when one of your children is obsessed with pirate ships and the other golf @DiscoveryDundee @VADundee @AbertayGameLab
This takes me back 25 years! Loved being part of Angus Schools Wind Band. It's not just about making music. It's about building resilience, perseverance & confidence. It's about learning to work as a team. It's about making friends & memories that will last a lifetime!
馃幎 Well done to Julie, Paul & the team at @AngusIms for another incredible Christmas Concert on Wednesday!
The performances were outstanding, showcasing the incredible talent of our young musicians. A special shout-out to the tutors/teachers for the work they put in all year. 馃憦

Newest @StrathmorePS Garden Gang member in training. Never wished the holidays away before, but really need the children back so we can pick the fruits (or vegetables 馃槈) of our labour!
Thank you @AsdaForfar for providing @StrathmorePS Garden Gang with some compost and bedding plants. The girls worked hard planting them up and the front of the school is looking lovely and colourful! 馃拹 馃尮 馃尭 馃彽 馃尲
Week 1 of @StrathmorePS Garden Gang done 鉁旓笍 We were too busy to get many photos, but it was a productive afternoon with 18 super keen children weeding in preparation for flowers at the front and veg in our raised beds. Plus,a tidy of the polytunnel was DEFINITELY needed!馃尲馃尮馃馃
A fabulous afternoon spent with @StrathmorePS Rights Respecting Rockstars getting our new allotment sorted at the Gallowshade Community Links Garden. Thanks to @MrsHendersonK for helping with the weeding. Next, it's the school planters! Nom nom nom 馃馃馃ガ馃ウ馃馃崜
The winner of @StrathmorePS art hunt has been chosen! Well done to one lucky pupil @Whitehillsps The art hamper will make its way to you today! Thank you to all local businesses who helped, the kids who took part & @AsdaForfar who supplied some bits & pieces for the prize 馃帹
@LanglandsPS @TannadicePs thank you to all of your pupils who took part 馃槂馃帹馃柤 We had lots of entries from your children!
Any apprenticeships going @Dishoom ? I have a very excited 1 year old who loves searching for the Malabar paratha recipe every time I get the book out (although he does shout, "Rolls!" as he's doing it, but don't hold that against him)
Today P2 @StrathmorePS showcased their individual artworks & class mural inspired by the Angus Glens to their families as well as our guest judge @DouglasRoulston (THANK YOU!) during our art gallery open afternoon. The children can鈥檛 wait to get to @ForAcadArt now馃槈
@Visit_Angus @VisitScotland if you ever need any new staff members to help you create images to boost tourism, I can recommend 24 x 6/7 year olds 馃槈
For our last day together P2 @StrathmorePS revisited our Term 2 topic; Minibeasts. We went on a big hunt, watched James & the Giant 馃崙 (finally!) & made some fruit insects. Oh, and the stars aligned so that we eventually got to try dragon fruit! Consensus being it's very bland 馃樁
At Strathmore, we are a tight team. Until 'moving classrooms day'. Then it's every man and woman for themselves. @StrathmorePS I love you all, but today I've got my elbows out and I'm taking all the good furniture with me...馃ぃ
