Congratulations to student Jack Hitchcock who has just self-published a book of 100 sonnets with illustrations by former Derby Moor student Amy Higginbottom. Jack is hoping to sell copies of his book as part of his fundraising for a charity trip to Kenya.

Just a quick reminder that #TransRightsAreHumanRights unfortunately in schools there is still a lot of stigma. My wonderful friend @Mx_THunter puts in so much effort to make sure that Trans and NB kids feel safe and can be themselves. There needs to be a shift in Education!

Wrote a detailed guide for sixthform Art students on ‘How to write a Personal Investigation Essay’ including proposals, how to write an introduction, body and conclusion and creating a bibliography. Hopefully this will enable students to confidently plan at home #WorkFromHome ✏️
Working on some examples for next year. I find something that pupils really struggle with is refining their work and creating a P E R S O N A L response. So I thought I would document my thought process / decision making throughout to help pupils see all the stages. #artanddesign
