Teachers, want to take something off your plate? Put HW in the trash. Especially for elementary, let students go home, run, play, and enjoy being a child. And read a little after playing. Then they come to school recharged instead of stressed out and you will too!

Still can’t believe I’m the one in charge of kids on a field trip and not the kid on the field trip. 😂

Let kids talk, hop, skip, jump, etc. their way through the hall and also let them run their fingers along the wall. IYKYK.

All I want is to win a very large amount of money and open a school that all the amazing educators I know can work at. That is not a lot to ask.

Teacher Tired. Few people know tired like teachers. In fact research found that teachers make more minute-by-minute decisions than brain surgeons, and that includes running around all day with a room full of children! You DESERVE a "self-care summer"!

We just had a conversation today about how there will always be people you don’t like and people who don’t like you 🙂

Just curious: Teachers, please RT this if you teach your students about things and topics that are NOT in the curriculum or the textbook you use because you know it’s very important that they learn it.
