Replying to @JoannaDiBella
@JoannaDiBella brilliant (self made) ‘adaptive teaching’ graphic sparked deep conversation about how we consistently deliver the adaptations needed to support the
“rainbow of requirements” in the schools across the @inclusiveMAT #Happychildrenlearn #Adaptation #Belonging
We were archaeologists today and explored artefacts from the Iron Age. Who did the items belong to? What was their use? We really enjoyed this lesson 🔍 @HeadLHS @LHS_Watford
What an extraordinary morning we had today! We were honoured to be filmed by the @BellFoundation as a best practise for bilingual provision using the foundation’s great ideas for EAL learners. We can’t wait to see the footage! @HeadLHS @CEOInclusiveMAT @LHS_Watford #EALlearners

It was brilliant hearing from James Roach @ceoinclusivemat at our Labour Party Conference event. 🎤
With sufficient #nurture and support from adults, children can develop the skills and resilience they need to cope with stressful experiences and improve their mental health. ✨

Great history lesson focused on deciphering artefacts and making assumptions about how life would have been during the Stone Age. I was really impressed with us being archaeologists today! @HeadLHS @LHS_Watford 🔎

I fully support @nurtureuktweets and their Manifesto. Making #nurturethenorm is THE way to a brighter future for all children.
We are calling on policymakers and education bodies to make #nurturethenorm in schools to help tackle the attendance crisis. It's time to support children to be #HappyInSchool. 🧡

During RE, we discussed the importance of agreements. Why are promises and agreements important? What would happen in a school without rules? We had some interesting discussions and it was lovely to see the children so engaged. @HeadLHS @MissChaudryLHS
In maths we have been exploring place value using maths manipulatives. We even challenged ourselves to partition numbers in the thousands! @MissKhatoonLHS @HeadLHS 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣
This morning we spent some time thinking of questions to ask @whatSFSaid ahead of his visit on Thursday! We are so excited! 🐈⬛ @HeadLHS
Today during music we had a great time composing a pentatonic tune on the glockenspiel! We explored beyond our music lesson by learning how to read musical notes. 🎶 🎵 @MrsMakinsonLHS @HeadLHS
