Charlette Cunanan

Thank you to our JEDI committee for organizing our second Diversiti-tea event. Some students in grade 7&8 enjoyed conversations and Q&A with MLA Tyler Blashko and MLA Jelynn Dela Cruz. Did you know Jelynn is a RETSD grad?

We hosted our first Diversi-Tea with guest speaker and Gold medal Olympian Desiree Scott. She shared her story and some barriers she needed to overcome to become an Olympic athlete. Her story was inspiring to many ADMS students.

A very large thank you goes out to Ms Cunanan and the EDI committee for the authentic and very engaging Asian Heritage Month celebrations at ADMS! All regions of Asia were celebrated and our students had opportunity to showcase their heritage to our entire school community.
