de·vo·tion (dĭ-vō′shən) n. Ardent, often selfless affection and dedication marked by dedicated loyalty.
I've never cared much about people riffing on popular ideas in this community. We all build on what's worked before, and a lot of things — in particular, related to safety — do need to be said and seen again by new eyes.
But lifting someone's post word for word and passing it off as your own? That isn't inspiration. It's laziness and a total lack of class.
Want to amplify something important? Quote it. Credit it. Add your own perspective. That's what respect looks like.

Its funny to me there are a few "big subs here" that talk a big game, talk about sending big, about knowing how to treat a domme and that have a big domme following.
A number of them have eventually approached me to session or serve and I've wanted to test this "superior sub" mentality and I must say ive been almost always disappointed.
Small sends, boundary pushing, kink dispenser vibes and even attempts to freeload.
Just remember, dont always believe what u see and read until youve confirmed it personally.

There’s a difference between learning from experienced Dommes and expecting Them to do the work of becoming one for you.
Learning requires initiative…curiosity..and self-discovery.
Outsourcing is expecting someone else to supply the knowledge, voice, methods, and identity you haven’t taken the time to cultivate yourself!
Guidance can sharpen your Dominance…but it cannot build it for you.

This is why I never ask “does this feel good to you” during mid-scene check-ins. Asking “how are you feeling” or “what do you need” leaves room for masochists to confirm whether they’re having an appropriately calibrated “good bad” time.

They don't. They never do. It's why if you approach and immediately claim I own you or that you want to be owned, I push extremely hard in play.
W/we both know you're not committing so I'm getting My fill before you vanish.

Replying to @MsJadis
When I was just starting out, I had no limits because I had no experience, so I asked to start very slow and build until I knew enough to to know where my limit should be. It was never "go as hard as you want, I can take it", it was "please help me find what I don't yet have."
One of the more difficult concepts for new subs to grasp when they move from content consumption to real-time play is that what they want, need, and crave might not feel like pure fun and pleasure in the moment it's happening. "Good bad" is a thing!

PSA to any woman, or anyone inexperienced, thinking about getting into sex work
Be extremely skeptical of anyone whose entire brand is built around flashing stacks of cash, luxury gifts, designer bags, and a supposedly effortless lifestyle while promising they’ll teach you the game.
The lifestyle is the advertisement. You are the customer.
The second someone starts selling courses on how to swerve, trick, or secure the bag, ask yourself why they’re making more money selling access to you than they are from the lifestyle they’re trying to convince you is so lucrative.
The most dangerous people aren’t always the ones who openly call themselves pimps. Sometimes they’re the ones who wrap exploitation in the language of female empowerment, mentorship, and community.
If someone’s business model depends on constantly recruiting inexperienced women into their orbit, that’s a glaring red flag. If they’re promising wealth while minimizing the risks, they’re selling a fantasy, not education.
The people worth listening to are the ones who tell you about boundaries, safety, financial planning, coercion, violence, burnout, taxes, and how to leave the industry if you choose, not just how to buy your next Chanel bag.
A mentor wants you to become independent. A recruiter wants you to become profitable. Learn the difference before you mistake one for the other.

Recent pet-peeves as a pro domme:
1) Un-shined latex - mostly in big production things, especially on celebrities who have never worn latex
2) When people crack a whip against the floor instead of learning how to crack a whip
3) Anyone at all saying "You're so lucky / That sub is so lucky" as if luck had anything to do with it
4) People who are the same niche as you, hating you because you are similar - rather than getting together as a team
5) Exploitation of others, specifically on podcasts
